Summit Urgent Care

Try a different urgent care! I went there today and had a 2 minute car visit. The doctor looked into my ears and said "You have allergies". I decided to go into my general doctor and after looking into my mouth and doing a test it turns out I have strep throat. Maybe if he took a few more minutes then the urgent care doctor would have found the real problem.

The beginning of the year I was exhibiting symptoms of covid. I needed to take a PCR test quickly to see if I had covid before I could return to work. I went to the Palmdale sheriff station and missed the cut off. I noticed there was an a urgent care around the corner from my home. I called the urgent care and was instructed to come right in. I went into the Urgent Care to complete a PCR test. The staff was friendly, polite and understanding of my situation. My insurance and flex spending card came in handy and was able to cover the cost of the test. I felt as though this was the most positive experience I have had at any Urgent Care. Thank you to the staff. I will definitely be using their services again in the future.

Not once, but twice have I gone to this place and given the wrong medication, dose, or just not enough. The first experience was with my daughter, who I only took there because it was over the weekend. They prescribed her antibiotics but the wrong amout. When I took her to her original pediatrician the following week because she wasnt getting better her doctor litterally laughed and raised her eyebrows at the amount/dose their doctor gave. 1.5ml I believe it was when it was supposed to be atlleast double. I never took my children there again, figuring they just werent good or familiar with little ones.

Second time they messed up was on me. They didnt even let me into their office and seen me outside. No vitals were ever taken, or x-rays even offered. They gave me a 5 day zpak, which the doctor claimed had steroids in them to help with pain and opening me up. Even I knew that wasnt the case when I seen that it was Zpak, but I was so sick and tired I went home hoping it was still enough. Now here I am, two weeks going to another doctor. I will never go back. I dont know how their doctors have licenses.

I recently visited Summit UC after my poor nephew smashed his finger with a car door, which left his finger in bad shape.

The staff was very friendly and a gentlemen by the name of Marco was super helpful and made my nephew feel at ease. Thank you SO much for taking care of him and for the the easy peasy process. Y’all are rockstars!

90$ visit 85$ for ex ray to let me know my I don’t have any broken bones on my leg (obviously if I walked into your office). On top of that they charged me 55$ for a knee brace. Basically I paid for them to let me know nothing is wrong with my leg. But yet it’s swollen and it’s been injured for a year. And I can’t even bend my knee. Plus on top of that I have a ball on the side of my knee. And the doctors “diagnosis” it’s fluid. So what did I come in for? Completely waste of money. I thought people who actually pay cash. Get a better medical services.

I had to bring my mother in a few days ago for a pre-op for a upcoming surgery she has to have. And the nurse who assisted us was amazing. Her bedside manner was great and when she was completing the blood work she only had to poke her once when usually that isn’t the case. Thank you Kimberly for making my mother’s visit a bit more comfortable, she was very pleased with you.

Came in for a TB and Physical, there’s what I think is a raisin on the windowsill. The lady who did my TB was very soft spoken seemed real unsure of what she was doing. She thought the Blood pressure machine died but she never plugged it in…After the TB I asked her about the physical and she said she’d go find out I’ve been waiting 20 min and I just hear the nurses talking about the different ways to say caramel…

I was vacationing in the area when we had a bit of a mishap. I'm from a country with socialized medicine so didn't know what to expect from American Healthcare. To my surprise, we were treated "urgently" and the care was top of the line. Everyone was so friendly and the premises were extremely clean and operated quickly and very organized. I had heard horror stories about hospitals in US but this one definitely proved those to be wrong. I don't plan to need to but if I had to visit another clinic, I'd definitely come here again.

Took my 3 year old here today when she smashed her toe with a rock. Everyone there was so incredibly patient with her and made her feel so comfortable for her first ever x-rays. The staff went above and beyond and even treated her stuffy like a patient, which made her so happy. There was a bit of a wait when we got there, but the care she received was worth the wait.

This place is amazing! The staff is attentive and every professional. And the facility is extremely clean and organized.

The staff was very polite, services offered where fast, and the medical providers where very educational.

Very slow assistance. I arrived at 8 am, they don’t open at 8 that’s just when their staff seems to arrive. After I filled in the paperwork they said “in a couple minutes we’ll let you in”, 30 minutes later they let
me in. Waited in the waiting room another 10 minutes. And waited for the physician another 30 minutes once I was let in the room. I was the first one to arrive and when I asked how much longer the wait time was they told me there was one person ahead of me. When the physician came in he was very kind and helpful and sweet. I just wish they would communicate more with the client about why the waiting time is very long. That’s something they should consider. I was treated respectfully but Very upset about the time I had to wait. I didn’t get to leave their office until 9: 40
So If you’re planning a visit to them there’s a chance you’ll be waiting long too.

Very quick and efficient. Brought my wife in to be seen. Staff were very nice and especially front office girls were very caring. Receptionists were able to check-in my wife quickly, great job ladies! Definitely deserve a raise!

HAPPY with my experience. Even though it was Christmas eve I was in and out in no time with my child whom I brought to be seen! Staff was super HELPFUL and FRIENDLY, love how they have many precautions for everyone's safety. 100 % recommend coming in!

Pros:
Doctor Linda from Sweden is great at this Urgent Care. She is a very good doctor and she works Tuesday and Thursday. I was in another day there and the doctor was ok but Linda is better. I like this Urgent Care. They took care me very well. Overall they work long hours until 8: 00pm which is great.
Cons:
The problem that they are not allowing people to seat in their waiting room. You must to stay outside and there is no seat outside. This is ridicules attitude towards patients. At least put some seats outside. I was there and had women days and couldn’t stay. We came by taxi and they didn’t propose me to seat and just left us outside to wait despite I told them I feel extremely bad and need to seat down. They should do things differently.

10/10 recommend! Brought my daughter in because she was having pain and was assessed within minutes. The young man who helped us was very respectful and showed excellent patient care! Staff was amazing!

Came in a few times for some work, and they took care of me, staff was nice and calm as i was calm too no need to be all extra they’re good people.

If you want to get tested for Covid, do not arrive after ~3pm (that is the cutoff time for COVID tests). You will be diagnosed from the car, (no entry for suspected COVID patients). The doctor and staff were very nice, took vitals and the doctor listened to my lungs, but couldn’t diagnose me further. They should update signage to convey the restrictions. If you want to get tested for COVID (after 3pm), call ahead and/or find another facility.
