17Our new favorite brunch place. We will go back to try their breakfast burrito and more. We shared the pancake which was delicious. I had the chicken mole tacos and hubs had the egg avocado breakfast sandwich with potatoes. We both had the Mexican Olla coffee. All delicious. Highly recommend.
Lovely family owned restaurant with all the Mexican classics and very vegetarian friendly too. We got the Grandma's omelette with mole and the chilaquiles. Good portion sizes for sharing and outdoor seating on Cal Ave is also available.
Six stars! After greeting us, our waiter asked if we had any allergies-so appreciated since I have celiac. He told me they are careful about cross-contamination, don't use shared friers, and can make most things on the menu gluten free (menu is well-marked, too). Our tastey food and drinks came out almost immediately, and we weren't sitting around forever waiting to pay when we were ready. The whole staff was cheerful, the space had cool decorations, and the interior was naturally lit. Such a nice date brunch spot.
Great, tasty food. Service was great and the atmosphere warm. We loved the seasoning and the side sauces that really added something. Dessert list was short but efficient. I’d recommend
Best craft cocktails! Food is incredible, ask for a side of their spicy salsa. Josue behind the bar is a one of a kind mixologist and a cool dude! Shrimp appetiser is amazing. The chapulin is my favorite drink!
Food was pretty average. Chips seemed like from Safeway, the salsa, fondido or sangria nothing was exceptional for their current rating.
It's one of my favorites in cal av. The food is pretty good (I love the chicken empanada, is way more juicy and sophiaticated than most regular ones, the tomato&onion "sofrito" is amazing) and the atmosphere feels quite relaxing and festive at the same time. Cocktails are really good, best in the area for me. A bit on the expensive side, but worth it. Outdoor sitting is really nice and appreciate they have heating:)
Went in for dinner on a Friday with a party of 4. Waiter was great but the manager kept trying to take our plates away. It was almost like they were running out, but we could see into the kitchen from our seat and they had plenty. I think it's just the floor manager trying to busy themselves. Didn't like that at all, we felt rushed.
The food was delicious but the portions were a little on the small side. Overpriced for sure. After we finished we were chatting for a little bit and our waiter came over to basically kick us out. I get that it's a Friday and you have to turn the tables but still felt kind of rude. He may have been under pressure from the busywork floor manager.
Would not recommend.
I was here once long time away when it open in 2019 I believe. I finally though about a place for dinner this was it. This place was amazing and the size for the food is very worth it but the quality is just delicious. It is worth every penny and made me feel like home without even having tasted this type of cooking. I Can say that their a reason why they still open! Definitely recommend and coming back again!
My friend and I wanted to be healthy and opted for a salad. I added Salmon and my friend chose chicken. The salmon was a generous portion and served with a glaze. The flavors of the salad, the dressing, and the salmon went perfectly together. My friend loved the chicken. The portions were generous and we had enough left over to take home.
The biggest surprise were the cocktails. Beautiful to look at and delicious to the taste. I’m already planning my return visit to try other entrees
So good you might not notice that a large portion of the menu is unapologetically vegetarian or vegan (although there's plenty there for meat eaters!). All their dishes are creative and delicious. Friendly staff and great drinks too. A favorite brunch spot for us, but also great for dinner. A great place to bring friends with dietary restrictions, which is a rare find.
As someone that is onion allergic, I appreciated that the waiter instantly pointed out what they can easily make without onion (entire menu was onions except the pancakes /s)
My favorite Mexican place on this part of the peninsula.everyone there is great and the food is hard to beat! See you there!
I ordered chorizo scramble and found it low quality and overpriced for what you get. Just eggs, barely any traces of chorizo.
Cute little place with superb service! Plenty of choices for vegans and vegetarians. We ordered the beet empanadas and the veggie tacos. Good portion sizes, and soo delish. Love the verde and the red sauces. We went here for a Saturday brunch and there was no wait time to sit indoors.
Food tastes good. Its on the pricey side but the taste justifies the cost. There's about 4 vegetarian options only so if variety is something you're looking for, this might be a downer
Excellent food overall and GREAT Vegan options. The drinks (Chaplin 5*!) are also very good and creative! Staff has always been friendly, helpful and enjoyable. I highly recommend!
