Dr. Bhandarkar calms you down during procedure so as to be at ease and confident that everything will be alright. He monitors progress of other eye procedure which he has referred to other eye specialist. My cataract surgeries were all successful.

My parents who live in Eagle Rock are above and beyond when it comes to seeing Dr. Bhandarkar patients on time. Since they live far from the office. Now days waiting to see Doctor even with an appointment takes time. But not his office, his staff are very helpful and excellent care. Highly recommended.

Dr. Bhandarkar is a wonderful doctor! He's thoughtful, thorough and very committed to providing excellent care. I see him for annual exams and he performed my mom's cataract removal surgery. Not only did he remove her cataracts but he fixed a birth defect she had and now she has 20/20 vision without glasses! It's like magic, she can finally see the world as it truly is. I can't praise him enough. And Sandy who runs the office is a gem. They also have the best playlist in the waiting room, although you rarely have to wait.

Greatest ophthalmologist in the LA area. My mother was going blind from the cataracts, and he cleared them right up… 5 stars well deserved.

At first step into their office, i felt the cordial treatment i received from the staff.and when i finally had my turn be examined by Dr. Bhandarkar, i really felt confident that i am in very good hands. I was not mistaken because the surgeries Dr. Bhandarkar on my eyes, both eyes were done very smoothly and very well … i was right the first moment i put my trust in Dr. Bhandarkar’s capabilities.

I can only give thumbs up to Dr Bhandarkar for his excellent work taking care of his patients. And same thing with his employees thumbs up to them too. We are four sisters and I’m youngest and taking care of my siblings. And all of us is his patients. Dr. Sunil Bhandarkar is an excellent ophthalmologist. He and his staff are all attentive and accommodating. My mother had cataract surgery and everything went smoothly from start to finish. They prepared all the necessary paperwork in a timely manner and they are still following COVID safety precautions in their surgical center so they only allowed my mom to enter the room; I was unable to even wait in the waiting room and at first, this made my mom and I feel anxious, but they called us to update us about her condition. They made sure she was comfortable and felt safe while in their care. They even dropped her off to us after her surgery and clarified post operative instructions with us. They never failed to call and follow up on how she felt after her surgery. They always called us at home and reminded us to keep her well rested and to report any discomfort. Dr. Bhandarkar and his staff go above and beyond for their patients and I’m so glad our primary doctor referred us to his care.

Had cataract surgery with Doctor Bhandarkar on both eyes. He explains everything clearly and is very friendly and caring… the the staff at the office are all great too! Been going there for a number of years and will continue.
