Sunrise Event Center and Banquet Hall, Rancho Cordova CA

The venue is nice but the management is nasty and disrespectful. Yasmeen, (although initially seemed accommodating before she received the money) soured my event by constantly giving attitude to my guests and gave people a hard time for minuscule things like hanging decorations up on the walls with command strips - or scolding people for “leaving the door open and letting flies in” during the set-up time. She did not clear the back room she said would be available for use and on the day of the event it was filled with junk and boxes — when one of my guest helpers asked politely if she could empty the room she rolled her eyes and said “she’d get to it when she gets to it”. She then pretended that she “never agreed to give us the back room” to avoid accountability for her negligence.

Literally ten different people throughout the event came up to me to complain about her attitude and I had to keep calm so as not to escalate conflict during the event. She felt like she was doing us a favor by executing her basic duties of the contract.

Management is unprofessional, arrogant and have no concept of customer service. I recommend avoiding this venue and looking for people who aren’t on a constant power trip and have actual management and service skills. The custodial staff were kind and friendly, unfortunately it was overshadowed by the management’s nastiness. Never again.

Attended event here. Upon entrance the place is beautiful but as you explore the quality of everything drops dramatically. The onsite staff are all over the place and there doesn’t seem to be any organization or leadership. There was stuff everywhere. The quality of the table cloths are poor, full of stains. Flooring seems to be lifting in some areas. The bathroom area there are holes in doors as if someone punched the door. Dessert table clothes were dingy. Disappointing and lacking professionalism.

Good place and great services. Thanks for the great work. I hope the management put more focus on food.

Nice and spacious, they did need paper towels or hand dryers In the restrooms as well hand hand soap.

This place was beautiful, but when my husband and I went to book the venue with the two woman who were in charge, 1 of them name Zanaib they had us put a deposit of $500 down and never sent us the paperwork we were supposedly suppose to receive in regards to officiating the deposit that was made to hold the venue for our event. So my husband and I decided to cancel our event due to COVID and I was assured that if we canceled in advance we were able to receive our deposit back (as we did cancel the event 5 month in advance) Zanaib claimed that we were emailed paperwork’s in regards to our event (which we did not receive anything, even after the deposit was made) and we tried several times to get in contact with them and they stopped returning our calls and never got back to us. They’re a scam and they do not follow through with their end of the business. So be careful because they will take your money and never reach back in regards too anything of your deposits that were made and the venue! They are the WORST management ever!

Its a simple looking on the outside but has many area to suit any need from wedding to sell you time share clean plenty of parking

Do not spend your money on this place! I was there Saturday May 15th 2021 with my family and the owner of this place attempted to drag my 10 year old niece out the door (physically dragging) She grabbed her by both arms, left bruises and scratches on her. She apparently was upset that the kids were in and out. There is no justification or valid reason for anyone to put they’re hands on any kids! If she felt the need to be there and was not okay with something that the kids are doing, you go and find the parents or the person in charge of the party and you tell them to take care of whatever situation you are not okay with! Do not rent this place people. She is a disgusting individual and does not deserve your hard earned money. Sheriffs were called and report made. We will see to it that no other family goes through anything like this ever.
