Sunrise of Hermosa Beach

I have been here for a month as a resident. I enjoy the place it’s very well run. The staff is fantastic, they have always been lovely. The facility is very clean and well maintained.

My mother was a resident from May 2019 to August 2023 in the Reminiscence wing of Sunrise Hermosa Beach CA and we are DELIGHTED with the first-rate care she consistently received over those 4+ years. The personnel there are deeply devoted caregivers, nurses and administrators for whom caring for Alzheimer’s patients is far more than a career; it’s a calling. Their professionalism, conscientiousness, energy, compassion, communication, creativity and warmth are of the highest order. We wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Sunrise of Hermosa Beach, and will be forever grateful for how well they took care of Mom.

My family highly recommends Sunrise of Hermosa Beach. We have found it is the perfect place for our parents to live and be cared for. The administration and staff are professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with, available, and kind. The care workers really have a heart for working with elderly people; it is not just a job to them. We couldn't be more satisfied with the living arrangements, social activities, and beautiful surroundings. It is the best!

I love how they managed their residents. Very personal, professional and and so much care. Every time I visit their facility, people are very welcoming. Activities for the residents are really interesting and engaging. They are very attentive to the residents need and every request to staff, was given immediately. Location is also a plus! Very near to the beach, especially if you want to take your loved ones for a quick bonding. Kudos to the management, and all the people in this facility. I will definitely recommend this to my loved ones. =)

It turns out that both my husband and sister are going into assisted living at the same time, each with very different needs. Shirley and team have been absolutely fantastic. Shirley has been in this profession for a long time and really knows the in's and out's of assisted living and patiently guided me through everything. We aren't quite moved in yet, but the process so far has been very easy. The facilities are very nice and every time I walk in there is something going on and the mood is always upbeat!

Mom is very happy living at Sunrise of HB. The caregivers and all the staff are very caring and loving. We are comforted in knowing she is living in a place where she is loved.
