Sunset Cliffs Coastal Trail (Linear Park), San Diego CA

If lucky, you can park car and overlook ocean. Weekend busy here and may see a wedding happening. Good hours available to hang out with panoramic views.

This is our daily go to at the end of the day. Barebones trail w/stairs every couple blocks.

Love Sunset cliffs. Can't get enough. If your having a bad day this is an instant cure. If you can't be happy by the water maybe you just don't want to be happy.

Absolutely stunning location to hangout. Nice place to sit and enjoy the sunset. Great running trail. Parking spaces are limited but not hard to find. There's no restroom nearby.

Awesome place to picnic.jog or just relax while watching the ocean. Parking is limited. You are able to walk down the cliffs to the water in some areas. Be careful.

Best place for sunset. Saw people having romantic dates, photoshoots for engagement photos, and teenagers jumping off the cliffs.

Entertaining to be there and people watch as well

Beautiful cliff views! A busier spot, but you can still find some quiet spots to watch the waves and sunset

Anytime you go you can't go wrong. From surfing, to reading, walking, and enjoy the beauty. Be careful and stay back from the end of the cliff, people really do fall, especially when taking photos.

If you are in SD, make a trip out to this part of the coast. The waves crashing against the rocks here are truly a sight to behold

Awesome area to stop and enjoy the sunset. The drive to get here is very easy but parking may be a challenge to find a good spot.

Beautiful place to relax with friends n family you can also plan one day picnic at this place….

Still just as beautiful as it was decades ago! Great place to relax, to run, to swim, to surf, or just walk around with the family.

Safety measurements taken due to ongoing erosion are done sloppy and without the respect this place deserves. Just installing rusty high fences without proper maintenance doesn't serve safety nor does is it optical pleasing. It takes away from the beauty. I feel bad for all tourists.

Always a beautiful place to watch the sunset so long as skies are clear! The parking gets tight so come early before the sunset so you don't miss it!
