Sunshine Center Laundry, San Diego CA

It’s clean and Larry is very helpfull! He even gave out some information about San Diego and San Francisco. As a tourist I really recommend this place to all other tourist who are getting their laundry done!

Highly reccommend. We were a couple of clueless British tourists, Larry was very kind and helpful, couldn't have done any more for us- including some great sight seeing recommendations for the area! Thank you. Great value too.

The manager was very kind and taught me how to use it slowly and carefully. Since they are keeping an eye on us and other foreign tourists, they are probably safe and safe to use. (Use the washing machine and dryer from 8 to 9 in the morning)

Not too bad, next door to a bar and a couple of restaurants. Some off street parking is available, one downside.bar patrons will smoke not too far from the entrance so there are times when a lot of cigarette smoke streams into the laundromat.

GREAT PLACE, small quaint, very clean establishment, more than enough washers and dryers. COURTEOUS HELPFUL STAFF, Larry was very warm and personable. I forgot my fabric softer dryer sheets and he gave me some. I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely go there again, you should too.

I have been using this laundromat since 1994 spent a lot of quarters here. The new owner keeps it up very well. They keep it very clean.

I used it on my trip. I was staying in the Gaslamp Quarter, but I came here for a clean laundromat. It is very well maintained and the owner is very kind. You can also use cards. It was nice to be able to wait while drinking coffee at the cafe next door. Having a laundromat like this on your trip is a great help.

Always a good place to do your laundry, prices have gone way up and dry time has gone way down, don't know if I will continue to come here, shame, been coming here for years, so please don't tell them I sent you, cuz I'm not, God bless

Great customer service. Very clean and well kept. Dave and Steve offered wonderful support with the fluff and fold service, left my cloths smelling great! So grateful for the support, they even offered me help to load the cart so I could transport it to my car. Good location. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

This place is very clean, has a lot of machines for different sized loads. It's very convenient with a parking lot and you can pay with debit card or cash. Both the owner and Steve, the attendant, are very friendly and helpful. Best laundromat in the area!

My experience at Sunshine Laundromat yesterday was exceptional. I don’t go to laundromats often and made a mistake with the cleaning products I put in the machine. David the owner stepped into hospitality high gear, and helped stop the washing process, assisted me with more detergent and got me back on track! I was in this place a couple of weeks ago with my wife and child, not only was it a surprisingly good value, but a taller gentleman there literally went out of his way to take care of everyone like they were family, he definitely missed his calling in the movie The Green Mile.props to this guy, we were staying in a hotel and he made us feel at ease being there. As well you can stop in the bar next door and enjoy a great beer!

Two days ago i came in to get change for my 5 dollar bill. This asian guy with long black hair stopped me and said i didn't like it and I won't come back. "you cant use that". I asked him why not? He said "cause you don't have laundry". I told him my girlfriend was on the way with the laundry. He looked into the sky and started to say "when she comes with. ". I just said forget it, ill go somewhere else. Then i left. Im wondering if he actually works there? Or is he the coin dispenser police?

Amazing place! That was my first time and the staff helped me with all the procedures (machines), timer, price, soap, dryer. Higher recommended!

I always have a lovely experience here. The staff and manager are constantly cleaning the common areas, so it always has a "clean feel" to it. You have options for payment such as coin and card, and the prices are pretty fair.
