Super 8 by Wyndham Los Angeles Downtown reviews
9We were visiting LA for the Elton John concert at Dodger stadium and this hotel is perfect if an event at the stadium is why you in town. It's an easy walk back & forth to the stadium- worth every penny to not have to deal with sitting in a car trying to enter or leave! Room was clean & the breakfast was nice
We booked 4 rooms about 4 weeks before check in date. We requested both rooms side by side, without odor of cigarette smoke, in a quiet area of the property. None of the requests were honored. Very few choices for breakfast. One of the yogurts had fungus. We had to eat breakfast in an outside restaurant. The staffs were cooperative though.
To be honest, I booked a four night stay at the Super 8 Los Angeles because of the close proximity to Dodger Stadium and earning 6000 points from Southwest Airlines since that's where I booked the hotel room through. I really didn't know what to expect and didn't have very high expectations either. So far, I haven't been too disappointed. The room was very clean and the staff was nice. Breakfast is served from 6: 30am to 9: 30am. They provide waffles, cereal, milk, coffee, juice, toast, and pastries. This is definitely the place to stay if your going to Dodger Stadium for a baseball game. I definitely will come back again.
Don’t do it. Stains on blankets, stains on towels, horrible smells, toilet barely works, no WiFi, no housekeeping, mattress hard as a rock, poor excuses for pillows, black hair all over sheets and floor and a nasty pool. I am crushed I spent any money on this hotel.
Hotel was not bad at all. At a great location near downtown and at a reasonable price. Also there is a very cheap gas station down the street to go to when you need to fill up the rental car that is the lowest in all of LA.
Easy to check in. Parking is limited. Room is nice bit needs updated with more electrical outlets for phone and tablet use.
The good stuff - Great location if you're there for a Dodger game. It's just a 10 min walk to the stadium. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. It was a reasonable place to lay your head between games.
It was super noisy and I barely slept for the two days we were there. My wife slept great. Go figure.
This is one of my more horrible experiences. This place is not clean. The staff are not nice at all. The area it is in is not safe. Your car is not safe because their are people living in the parking lot. I accidently left my car unlocked and someone went through my car and stole whatever they found. That was on me, but who wants to even put themself in that situation? Did I mention that the staff are probably the rudest, unprofessional I have ever encountered. If no star at all were available as an option, I would choose that. It is an insult to stars to give them one.
Worst hotel i have ever stayed in. We were assigned to a smokers room, despite we havent booked one.
Very old rooms. And all in all very uncomfortably. Tried to change the room but the impolite staff didnt want to help us.
Booked 3 nights an left After 2…
