Super 8 by Wyndham Red Bluff

Rooms smelt like stale cigarette smoke, door jam was broken as the lock. Looked like the door had been kicked it. Did not feel safe for children which we were traveling with. Bed spread had a stain and the mattress very firm. The booking stated the pool was open and operating and it was not. Very budget.

I always use this motel for business. I'm always in a bus or limo. The owner always goes out of his way to put me in a quiet room and keep my vehicle visible.

Well, let’s just say if I would’ve known it was a two star motel I wouldn’t even bothered and needless to say it was all that and less! When arriving the reception clerk was very inquisitive and nosy and asking things he probably shouldn’t of been asking and it after we got our room and settled in within the first 2030 minutes the heater decided to go out on us and we had to get him to come over to try to fix it, which then gave us another room which the heater in that also was lukewarm and barely heated the room, and it had a funny smell of the place, and I also left my watch there and I had a hell of a time to get it back three hours hassle to try to prove it was mine and I’m top of that they wouldn’t send it to me. I have to pay for that and they wouldn’t even send it cash on delivery absolutely ridiculous please don’t ever stay there channels work and only three channels worked on the television need I say anymore I don’t think so!

The person at the desk was very nice. The room was awful, there were bugs in the sink, looked like gnats. The room needed a good cleaning but the sheets appeared clean. I would not stay there again if there was a choice.

Wow. What else can I say? The rooms were very clean and well kept. Never before in this level of hotel have I seen a refrigerator, microwave, full dresser, bed, chair and table, and a full size couch! If not a bit out-dated, it's a cozy feel.

The owner told me he recently purchased the hotel and is working on upgrades.

The room is spacious despite all the amenities that I described.

The service at this hotel was extremely professional and friendly.

The gentleman that owns this hotel went out of his way. Even in so much as to give me a bottle opener for a bottle of wine that I had purchased at a local store.

Overall is a wonderful place. The costumer service is excellent and they are more then welcoming and understanding. Always pretty well cleaned and never loud or to exiting after dark. Only problem I think is there location is so hidden its hard to see

You'll get the value for money but can work on remodeling the hotel. Slightly outdated ameneties.

Just finished staying here a few days.awesome and Great stay. The pool was really clean. My room was nice. The new owner cares about this location. It's good to see it being taken care of and renovated. Keep up the good work

I really like this motel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are courteous.

Super 8 in red bluff was great, thanks to the owners who accommodated us and our two dogs, and applied the triple a discount. They let us hang out there until our friend was able to pick us up since our car needed to get towed. Will come again!

Easy, comfortable place. Price was very reasonable. Mak at front desk is friendly, I call to let them know that I will arrive in 2 AM in the morning. He told me that the front desk is close at 12 midnight. He will wake up to check me in when I arrive. It's so kind of him. I will go back to stay there next time.

Easy, clean, comfortable and inexpensive place to stay

Stopped over here on the way over from the coast to the Sierra. Needed a pool or something fun for the kids and outside access for luggage. Alot of the hotels/motels in the area are dumpy, this one is well maintained. The pool stays open until 10pm which is nice so the kids don't have just 20 minutes to swim after a long day in the car. The gentleman who runs the place is very friendly and attentive. When we had an issue with the showehead he came in an replaced it right away, understanding we'd been camping for 4 days and desperately needed a shower. Highly recommend if you need a stopover in Red Bluff.

Very nice staff. Rooms are adequate (being updated at time of our visit in Juy 2022) given the price. We visited with 130 people on vintage motorcycles. They have a small pool also.

Currently there is no pool or breakfast due to new ownership and construction apparently. I also booked a non-smoking room, but the room reeked terribly if cigarette smoke, couch and carpet were filthy and old. I immediately left and booked with a new hotel.

I gave this Motel an 8 because it met our needs for having a clean room to stay in while we were attending my sisters' wedding. We stayed two nights and we felt safe and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating to both me and my father who was also staying at the Motel. I must brag about their mini bottles of shampoo and conditioner are Matrix and for the first time in a long time, I did not have to go out and buy shampoo and conditioner because the ones provided are normally bars or just not good, but not at Super 8 in Red Bluff. To the staff, Thank you for your hospitality! We will stay with you again when we go back.

Nice staff, but this is an older property that is currently under going some renovations. It is easy access from the I-5. I would recommend it for anyone that simply needs a stop overnight during travel, without children. Sadly, I came out of my room in the morning to find a hypodermic needle outside my room where there hadn't been one the night before. The manager was horrified, but it is unfortunate that this could happen anywhere.

They were very accommodating to our needs and were always available. The room was clean with a working heater. This was overall a good experience. The property was very quiet.

The new owner just took this place over and is working on fixing it up. Our room was nice and clean. Check in was a little bumpy as they don't have a dedicated front desk person. I booked the wrong room and he did easily fix it!

I want to thank and acknowledge Kam at Super 8 motel in Red Bluff Ca. For going above and beyond for us on Tuesday the 17th. My husband and I are traveling by motorcycle and after 12 hrs on the bike we could not find rooms anywhere due to the California fire and all the fire fighters/first responders trying to contain it. He gave us a room when someone had recently left unexpectedly. Being so short staffed he even went and cleaned our room himself. Mind you this was 9pm, and technically he was full and didn't have to help us. But he did. And he had been working from 5am with his dinner still waiting in take out bags. This was beyond customer service and we are thankful. There were no other rooms for miles. He was also working the next morning and his family came to help clean rooms and get ready for another full day of fire fighters coming in. THESE ARE GOOD PEOPLE. I hope they get help soon. THANK YOU KAM.

Super nice people and went above and beyond to help my sons and I after a credit card snafu with Booking.com (who had the xp.date on my card wrong). They had my issue resolved quickly and we were checked in quickly.

The rooms are very clean and the a/c is cold. Plumbing works great! Our last hotel had a weird smell from the drains.

All in all, a we'll be sure to stay here again.
