2The first time we went to this location Central, Montclair we were turned away because we did not have an appointment, so we booked an appointment online and showed up on the day of appointment, checked in and no problem. I called to book an appointment for my mom yesterday, and was told I did not need to make an appointment just walk in. She didn't ask for any info. I took her word and came in with my mom today 8/8/2023 at 10am, she needed a touch-up and was told they couldn't do that today or tomorrow or anytime soon as a matter of fact they told her that they may be able to do it on the 18th. I feel that this salon handled this situation poorly and were very unprofessional. We went to the Aveda Mia hair salon at the nearby Montclair Plaza with no appointment and were greeted by friendly faces, wonderful service and a better attitude and my mom was happy with the way her hair turned out.
It takes too long to get a hair cut here. 1 hour and 30 mins. They need more staff on Sundays.
