Ice cream is unique. Real and authentic. Not too many places like this. You gotta try it. We are lemon choco and strawberry fans. Not to mention the gigantic banana splits. Soo good!

Amazing Ice cream. I had the Cookies n cream flavor and it was superb! So creamy and delicious. One thing is for sure, central valley has the best ice cream! (just a tip- one scoop is more than enough for two people.)

Absolutely delicious ice cream! Don't be deceived by the serving examples in the front, though - they give you quite a bit more than that. I'd heard that they served large portions, but we were still surprised at how much they gave us! Hand for scale, since I didn't have a banana. Yes, both of those Styrofoam cups are entirely filled with ice cream. 11/10 would recommend.

This dairy / creamery holds a special place in our family's hearts. When traveling through Central Valley, in California, we always make a special stop in the town of Hanford. We often go to Fresno and this is not too far from there. Right in the center of town across from City Hall, there is a very nice park / grassy area and Superior Dairy! This American cafe style diner is a slice of heaven! The Ice cream is not made there any longer but is still super satisfying! Go there and be happy. Let the Falcon Fly!

I guess I'm just used to really good ice cream like cold stone or 31 Flavors but this ice cream was terrible. I've heard about this place for 30 years and I finally went and I was so disappointed

Was great, just disappointed we couldn't sit down and eat our ice cream inside, that's part of the joy of going all the way down there. Had to go to country park and it was hot 104 degrees.

Humongous servings of sherbert that i have and loved it.
I didn't get to try any others.

Because of Covid-19 regulations the dining tables were not available, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the delicious ice cream.

A had a very bad experience. My girlfriend and I went in to have a banana split, and they put it in a cup. Banana splits are supposed to be in a bowl.

It use to excellent when they had in door dining; they have not opened since Covid and that is why I'd rate 1 star.

I was in Hanford for business. This ice cream shop is an icon. Hugh Houser filmed a visit on his show " California Gold" many years ago. Although very old, still has the old counter and tables very nostalgic to say the least. Ice cream is good too!

My favorite Ice Cream place in the World. Yes in the World. Always great quality, always quantity in their portions whether your getting a cone or a shake. Off the beaten path a little in Hanford, CA but well worth the stop. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to chocolate chip.

After seeing this place on an episode of California's Gold, we had to try it. Ice cream was nothing special, they made my wife's banana split in a styrofoam cup, and there was no inside dining because their air conditioning wasn't working. Disappointing experience.

This place is the best and only place that I will buy ice cream, big portions and the factory packed tubs are great.

When you walk inside it doesn’t look like much but when you order you get some of the best I’ve cream I have ever had! I ordered one scoop of the cookies flavor and I couldn’t even eat half it was huge! But so delicious! We will definitely be hitting up Superior Dairy when we go to Hanford again!

The ice cream is amazing and the portions are huge. A single scoop is more than plenty for two people. 5/5 will return again
