Sura Korean BBQ & Tofu House Restaurant - Long Beach

Go here for the experience of fusion or go here for the memory of what may have at one time been Korean. The banchan was the closest I came to authentic but the second I see fries or nachos on the menu, it's def diluted. The service is GREAT, the outdoor seating in the afternoon lends a welcoming breeze.

Great service, great location. They have parking in the back, not too many spaces, but it’s a plus. The food was delicious and I love the variety. They have some fusion food, vegan options, and lots to choose from. The scallion pancake was hands down my favorite thing I ate today. It was sooooooo delicious, I would order 5 more if I could. The meat was super good, and I actually really enjoyed the bulgogi! (It’s not usually my favorite) The waitress was nice enough to let us all share the food and brought us extra bowls for the soups, etc. Another great thing is that they have yummy drinks with boba. Literally a one stop shop! Super cool and I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

Cashier today was kind even under pressure. Power went out and it was all handled so well. I even got my order.

I needed to find a Korean restaurant to cater a luncheon at work and Sura did a fabulous job. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Price is reasonable and the food quality was amazing. Highly recommend.

I recently went to this restaurant with a good friend of mine and let me just say that our server Trey was kind and extremely helpful. We weren’t sure of what to get since this was our first time being in the restaurant and we weren’t too familiar with Korean cuisine. Trey understood and was great at giving us recommendations which all were absolutely delicious. He recommended the short ribs, bulgogi, and the rice cake skewers (my fave). We also got the scallion pancake which Trey also recommended. Everything was absolutely delicious and the other staff members were kind as well! I’m definitely returning! Also, they have outside seating and the tables are far enough from each other. Be sure to make a reservation before coming in! I highly recommend!

This is a really fun bar with a very extensive beer selection and lots of board games! (:
Went in randomly about an hour before they were supposed to close and the place was busyy. They have books about beer and board games scattered throughout the place.
Beer lovers will be ecstatic with this place.

A very serious and delicious vegan/vegetarian selection. Their animal protein dishes look wonderful as well. The place has a comfortable upscale Korean pub vibe.

The food was adequate but nothing special. My pork belly gijjae had three tiny overcooked pork pieces and tons of tofu filler Rice was dried out also.: (

The food came out with side dishes and rice like usual, and the portions were more than enough for three girls. WARNING: the crispy rice cake skewers are very spicy! I am Korean, and I loveee spicy food. I think my favorite dish was the bulgogi nachosWho doesn't love bulgogi and who doesn't love nachos? It was the perfect combo to go with the soju.

2nd visit and vegetarian options were amazing. Would have been a 5 but took FOREVER to come out.

I have met the owners, a very young couple that host DJ parties in their back room from time to time and the husband spins his own mixes.

I love this place. They have several vegan and vegetarian options. They even have vegan kimchi. Great menu.

Great Korean food at a good price. They even have some fun and tasty fusion foods as well. I can't say no to their bulgolgi nachos.

Vegan sopes were amazing! The customer service was nice and they also had parking which was a relief:) The parking is located through the alley on the side.

Used to love the place. The original spot for Korean tacos in LBC. Came here tonight and told they no longer serve them. One of the dinners came out 15 mins later. Bulgogi was way too sweet. What a disappointment! Don't know if ownership has changed, but this is a remarkably dumb idea to end something that literally carried your reputation for years (tacos). Food upon our last visit minus tacos was just not the same. Won't come back.

Sura is one of my favorite places hands down. So many good veggie options! Ask for Kingston he is the best, super attentive and quick!

We love Sura, been many times in the past. Great value, we always walk out full as. Their Spicy Pork Bento is always a winner. The fun of cooking the dishes, great place. Just Service has been lacking.
