They saved me! I was having the HARDEST time trying to wash my car. I couldn't find an open place—I had visited three. Pulled into the car wash next door only to find out they didn't accept credit cards, cash only. I scrounged up two dollars bills and ran desperately next door to Surf Liquors. The man working there was AWESOME! So friendly and sympathetic. Great guy!

Discriminates against disabled people. Violating California's equal access restroom act.

OG liquor store. Get your lotto action on! There's a fridge in the right corner where you can get hard alcohol chilled and cheap

Came in here by chance, unfortunately stepped on glass on main street and it went through my sandal cutting my foot.the man working the shop (? Owner) was so kind and caring.gave me some supplies, some for free, to clean my wounds and bandage myself up.that man is a true saint! If i lived nearby i would give him my business more often!

I had the misfortune of visiting Surf Liquor on Main St in Santa Monica, and it was easily one of the worst experiences I've had at a store. From start to finish, everything was a nightmare.

First of all, the workers were incredibly rude. I'm not sure if they were having a bad day or if they're always like that, but either way, it was a terrible first impression. I was greeted with scowls and sighs, and when I asked a question, the worker acted like it was a huge inconvenience.

To make matters worse, everything in the store was upcharged. It was like they had added an extra tax to everything in the store, and it was a huge rip-off. I felt like I was being taken advantage of at every turn, and I didn't appreciate it at all.

And don't even get me started on the owner. He was even ruder than the workers, if that's even possible. When I asked him about the upcharged prices, he got defensive and started yelling at me. It was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel like I had done something wrong just by asking a question.

Overall, I would give Surf Liquor on Main St in Santa Monica a one-star review. The workers are incredibly rude, everything in the store is upcharged, and the owner is a nightmare to deal with. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I used to love coming to this store, it’s right down the street from the Santa Monica curbs, one of my favorite skate spots. However, I will no longer be giving this store any money! An African American clerk randomly accused my coworker and I of stealing while I was at the checkout counter. He started by asking me if my coworker walked out with any thing and stated that he saw him holding something, which was his personal thermos. I responded to his question calmly and he doubled down on the accusation and then stated that he would check the cameras. He did still offer to check me out after accusing me of stealing but I refused to continue with the transaction… I then brought my coworker back in and asked the clerk what he took and the clerk then responded with a threat, “leave before I forget that I work here” this is 0 star customer service in my opinion
