Surf Thru Express Car Wash

I love that for a set amount every month, I get unlimited car washes. What I don't love is the quality of the car wash. The guys washing your car must see hundreds of cars everyday and giving every single one of them is probably not their primary focus. It does c+ work. Although what's awesome is the vacuum cleaner and the air are both free. When you drive out of the car wash you make a right and you are where there are about 15 vacuums that you can use to clean the inside of your car. Maybe if you pay for the more expensive car wash they might do a better job but overall I'm pretty happy with them

I noticed the hood, roof, and back of our SUV was untouched with the Ultimate wash. I drove through again stating this and they said there was nothing they could do. They could rinse it but they are not allowed to touch the vehicle with a brush. So I paid for a full wash to only get the sides of my vehicle washed.

I have a membership but have to go through the cashiers line to get bags or wipes. The kids that work there are usually pretty helpful but the way they run the car wash just doesn’t make sense. I always have water on my car after going through the dryer it just never dries it enough. I really don’t think it’s worth the money but I do like the convenience.

Last week I went through the Esplanade location and the car wash broke down while I was in it. They tried to rinse the soap off but it left major water spots all over the vehicle. Went back a few days later and the same thing happened! I called the main office several times as well as left my name at the car wash to be called back. That was a week ago and still nothing! I have two monthly passes for my vehicles and the management doesn’t seem to care about its customers. If there was another place to go I would.

Horrible, passenger side never had brushes touch, nor the top and my windshield and bumper is still covered with bugs. Won't be back, California car wash does a better job X100

Paid for an ultimate wash and received a basic ‘epic’ as the sign said, no wax or shine was applied. Got a rewash and received a mystery wash, sure enough no wax, no tire shine. Don’t waste your money on this scam house. Other across town is the same. Never again.

Staff is great. They were able to customize my wash to delete the Armor All wheel treatment as it was leaving a white residue on my painted rims. It did cost me $0.02 to delete that chemical, which was strange, but I had the cash so I treated myself. The wash will occasionally leave scratches. I've received at least five to date in four months. It is also not gentle on painted rims as it will leave the wheel with a haze from the cleaning strokes. These are livable things on my lease vehicle as I have no access to a wash area where I live. I buy the staff Ice Cream every four or five times through and I think if you are reading this and go there you should stop off and pick them up something refreshing or after you are finished go grab something. Both locations in Chico have grocery stores within a rocks throw. Be nice and tip if you can. Tip, always tip. If you order DoorDash, TIP. It's a bid for service anyway. You Nontipping dirtbags deserve cold food that is late getting there.

It was alright, nothing spectacular but better than just an average car wash. Vacuums barely worked which was surprising since I think this place is pretty new. Prices weren't crazy but you get what you pay for.

The monthly rates are worth it. I periodically take the cheapest monthly plan and commit to at least two months. It works for me but I have some mixed feelings about the car wash attendants. Usually they're good: Hard working, professional, cautious, informative, knowledgeable, and friendly. Sometimes they're very busy but that's not the issue I have. I recall a while back that I was told they were closing and turned away. I checked the hours. I am pretty sure they should have been open when I tried to go through. Closes at 9pm. Maybe they changed their hours. Plus I get mixed messages from people on other things and have been, what I feel was, over charged for supplies in the past. And mis-informed on wash rates. So.that all may be workers not really knowing the rules but I feel like it's intentional. It's definitely capricious. That's all disturbing sense we are trusting these people with our cars and with the operation of a potentially hazardous machine. Maybe the machine was broken. I spoke to the district manager who verified that the least expensive wash plan is about $14-$15 the first month and about $20 thereafter with a 2 month commitment. Includes washes and self service vacuuming. Remember that. Plus wipes are free but extra supplies may be charged to your card. Watch out on that! The monthly plan is a good deal for anyone who uses drive through car washes regularly.

My car was still very dirty after the wash, id rather drive 60miles and go to duck duck car wash than come back here, my car always come out spotless there.

I love the unlimited monthly plan. It keeps my car looking like new! Excellent service, highly recommended!

Didn't clean my car at all and left scratches all on the hood of my brand new 2023 truck I made a claim through them and got a call a couple days later saying it was denied the worker on the phone had zero social skills and could not communicate properly at all would not recommend this place to anybody at all horrible service lazy workers and nothing but corporate greed if your car gets damaged they will say nobody before or after you made a claim and that they checked cameras worst car wash place I’ve ever been to especially to be so overpriced

Before entering the automatic car wash 2 people had brushes to pre wash on each side of your vehicle. The clearance is 72 inches. Overall I really liked it.

Over a year ago, a giant spinning brush that washed your hood and windshield failed, dragging it up and across the front of our vehicle causing damage to the grill, hood, windshield and top of vehicle.
We painfully went through the proper channels as Andrew wasn’t very responsive and got quotes at Surf Thru’s vendor, per Andrew the manager. He approved the repairs and the date was set. He wouldn’t approve a rental even though they wanted to keep our vehicle for over a week. At this time he wanted to “revisit” the quote. He never called back and won’t respond to emails.
Just to add to it this locations issues it currently has had a broken brush on the right side for over two months. Due to this it doesn’t wash the right side of your vehicle. They’ve still have been charging people full price and only hand wash the right side after a complaint. I would rather drive to Sacramento for a car wash than use this vendor after the way Andrew Warren chose to handle this situation.

My low rating isn't because they don't get your car clean or done in a timely matter. Its because they use rain-x sprayed onto your car to help with the water beating process. I do not recommend anyone going through the wash with an older car that may have plastic. Its leaves permanent streaks!
