Eileen, Cynthia, and Lara are such kind and welcoming people! This was my first time riding a horse, and I don’t think it could have gone any better anywhere else. They are very knowledgeable about their horses and also were very generous with their time. They even let us wash our horse and learn all the ins and outs from saddling to riding to even working them!

I was beyond blown away from the first day we came. We’ve been back there every week since, and I don’t think we’ll be slowing that down anytime soon.

If you’re looking to take some photos, there are so many great spots on the ranch— and even for videos. And the trails are an experience you must go on!

I’ve never ridden a horse before, and now I have it in my plans to buy one. And I know who I’m going to — Surfside ranch. Thank you guys so much for your hospitality and positive energy. I am so grateful to have met you all.

Our tour was amazing. She showed us the whole ranch and then took us on the one hour tour. It was fun and the views were nice.

Did a trail ride here and it was great. Nice people running it and they took great care of my kiddo.

I recently came across Surfside Ranch by chance, and hands down had the best experience. The staff was friendly, hardworking and so knowledgeable about their craft. The horses were strong, healthy and the ranch was so refreshing. Highly recommend to come out for a ride at Surfside, and don’t forget some carrots for treats!

I’ve debating a while posting this review… I’m an equine professional I work with horses everyday of my life and the absolute lack of care of the horses and clients was devastating. Lame horses being worked, saddles that don’t fit the horses… my horse I was put on had a clearly broken bridle and I had to point it out to staff. They also put the hackamore on and someone asked “why is he riding in that? “ and someone replied “I can’t find his bit… but you’ll be fine…” at one point during the ride the guide (both of whom where subpar for the 120 dollar price and didn’t even talk to us or give any instruction) said “these are kick horses kick them hard. Helmets were not offered, we signed the waivers with highlighter, the farm was littered in trash. An 8 year old girl had her feet stuck through the stirrups the whole ride. If the saddle slid off or the girl lost her balance she would be effectively stuck to the horse and/or dragged being seriously injured or killed. The horses feet were in very poor condition and the horses were clearly unhappy, and that’s coming from someone who helps manage barn of 60 trail horses and over 25 boarded horses. I would spend your money somewhere else where they put that money back into properly fitted equipment and the Well fair of their animals.unprofessional

Do not blame the staff. I’m sure they truly do care about the animals. Blame the management and owner. They need to care more about the animals who allow them to make money. And from everything I’ve seen, their horses happiness and health is the last thing on their mind.

What an amazing experience! The guide/owner was absolutely fantastic in every way, the horses were well taken care of and chosen to the rider's ability, and the ride itself was amazing. I will definitely go back!

I was looking for a boarding home for my horses as I was getting ready to go on the road. I came across Surfside Ranch upon speaking with Betty, who is the owner there. She guaranteed me that my horses would be well cared for in my absence. Without hesitation, I moved my horses there on January 23,2023. We were in a verbal agreement that I was to pay $700 a month for both horse. I went on the road, thinking that I had left my horses in good hands at a professional boarding home for horses but later came into realization that it was a lie. Since I was on the road, I would send her payments via Zelle each month and inquire about the horses if they were being fed and well taken care of like I was told. After being on the road for two months, I came back home and visited the horses. That’s when I first noticed that they might be underfed, but of course I spoke with Eileen, who takes care of the horses and feeds them that would be Betty’s daughter. She reassured me that everything is fine the horses are fed they are taken care of. There is nothing to worry about. After speaking with her, I was able to relax and I went back on the road, and once again came home after two months only this time to find out that my suspicions the first round was right. I should’ve just followed my first instance, and removed my horses to a better professional boarding home. After paying $700 a month for six month only to find out that my horses were starved is very misfortune. Of course I did find a new place for them and move them out ASAP. For anyone out there that is looking for a professional boarding horse home, I would strongly suggest that you do not go to Surfside Ranch, they are not professionals, they are liars, manipulators and abuse the horses there. Mine is not the only ones that have their rip showing through their bodies. They are more horses there that are being starved I will upload pictures of how my horse looks like and you the reader can be the judge of this place see it for yourself.

Eileen was a very knowledgeable and gracious host. She knew about the environment and the horses and had just the right amount of humor. The ride to the beach was a little long but it was to ride on the beach. Definitely worth it. I would do it again!

Exceptional experience with our granddaughter for her 9th birthday. We had no idea what to expect and even expected them to be closed for Good Friday. Booking was easy and even though we couldn't get a ride (1.5 hours) before 4pm it was just perfect. We were greeted by Ricky who introduced our girl to their goats before leaving for the ride. They had sunscreen and mosquito repellant if needed. Cynthia took us for our ride and was simply amazing with our little one. Calming, encouraging and patient. AND.they are open 365 days a year! All over.as I said exceptional experience seeing the border etc. We will be back! Well done you guys! Thank you very much!

We had Cynthia guiding us and it was awesome! We did the 1.5hr tour and the fields were beautiful. She would always stop and make sure that we were doing ok and she was extremely sweet! Everyone was super sweet. We also learned that some of the horses are rescues from slaughter houses and I love that they do that. They come in sick or malnourished and they help these horses to the best of their ability. We would definitely come back again and would definitely recommend it! 10/10

OMG we had so much fun. Cynthia and Ilene were amazing. Very polite and welcoming. I called a day or two in advance because the weather sucked but they were still willing to let us ride even in the rain. Ofcourse we didn’t ride in the rain but it showed how accommodating they were willing to be. We went there for my significant others 29th birthday. It has always been on his bucket list. I took my mother in law too and she loved it as well. It was muddy bc of the rain earlier that day but I didnt care lol. They also had a nice petting zoo! We were able to feed and pet the animals my 2 year old was able to ride for about five minutes (with Cynthia guiding) by herself and she rode with Ilene for the trail ride for safety reasons. THANK YOU FOR THE EXPERIENCE IT WAS AMAZING.
