Sushi Ajito reviews
14Sushi Ajito is THE go to place for sincere and excellent service, and absolutely delicious sushi, cut rolls, etc. It is like going to a wonderful aunt and uncle's house for home made sushi. The place is cozy and inviting. Perfect for a quick lunch date. You will love it!
I was not disappointed leaving this restaurant all my expectations were exceeded 10/10 the food and the service was exceptional
Nestled between the side streets of West Hollywood is Sushi Ajito. The restaurant serves a variety of Japanese cuisine, ranging from sushi to sashimi, ramen, poke bowls, udon, and sushi burritos. Ajito also features a fine selection of appetizers, including unique dishes such as baked green mussels, popcorn lobster, and octopus salad. There are alcoholic drinks available, including Asahi beer, a variety of sake (house hot sake, sauri sake, nigori sake), Harajuku draft drinks, and wines (chardonnay, merlot, pinot noir, and plum wine). For desserts, Ajito offers a variety of ice creams, including green tea, mochi, and tempura flavors.
The Japanese cuisine joint is outfitted with bright lanterns and beachy art. The walls are decorated with cherry blossom paintings and endearing polaroid photos of their valued customers. Ajito has a very welcoming atmosphere, temptingly inviting guests in for an unforgettable meal.
I ended up ordering the spicy ramen (which can be prepared vegan), as well as the sweet potato tempura roll. The ramen, which came out first, included carrot, seaweed, and bean sprouts with the noodles. The dish was relatively simple, but its broth excited my tastebuds with a savory kick. The sweet potato tempura rolls came out six stuffed with delicious chunks of, interestingly, tempura avocado. The rolls were piled high with tempura sweet potato sticks, and covered in a delicious, sweet glaze. While the sweet potato tempura seemed to be mostly tempura batter–there wasn’t much sweet potato to be battered within–the tempura made for a delicious, textured crunch. The icing on top of the dish was the edible flower that crowded my pile of sushi.
The service at Ajito was lovely. My food was prepared relatively quickly at the sushi bar in front of me, proving Ajito’s commitment to fresh ingredients. My server was attentive to my dietary preferences, and I had a wide variety of vegan options to choose from on the menu.
Love this spot. Their sushi is always so fresh. Heart attack roll and spicy tuna roll are my go-to. Used to dine-in here often but for obvious reasons have gotten my orders to-go every week or so. Highly recommend
This place never disappoint. And sure to satisfy our taste buds with the best tasting sushi in town!
This is a place I have been going to for 2 years. I love it and I go a lot. Super good food and it goes quick. Everything is good actually amazing. But 1 thing you should do if you come in in the morning is actually look inside before thinking it is not opened. Because sometimes you can mistake it is not open do to the dark windows. I saw people trying to see if anyone is here. And they left because the my didn't look inside. So always check but otherwise I would toatally recommend eating here. So delish. (also if u want to not wait in line come here late lunch/4 or earlier there will be no wait at all)!
One of the best sushi places in town. Friendly staff and good vibes all round, especially the outdoor set up
A Japanese friend introduced this place and I'm now hooked! Its one of my favorite restaurant now. I got my takeout orders not more than 15 minutes, which is good for a bunch of 4 friends for a movie marathon night with Sake!
We love the Miso and Spicy ramen with its incredibly delicious broth and toppings, bean sprouts, corn, wakame, and tamago! A very good match with Sake! If I could rate them more than 5 stars, I would!
Its now my new favorite Japanese restaurant. I got my takeout orders not more than 15 minutes! Amazing!
Best sushi, especially the Number One Roll, a must have! Staff is great! Do not know if Johnny is still there, but he is awesome! Ask for him and say hi.you might get a free sake shot!
Just stopped in for a late lunch. Quiet, had the baseball game on. Got the Harbor Special; 8 prices sushi and a spicy tuna roll. Tilapia was the non-traditional addition to tuna, salmon, and cooked shrimp. Finished with a nice sauce, solid peppery notes. Will definitely eat there again. Reasonable price and excellent quality.
This is my go to sushi spot! My boyfriend & I have date nights here all the time & we are never disappointed. The sushi here is always fresh, amazing, and affordable! The service is by far the best & they have happy hour deals all the time!
Been there about 7 times and each time the service is great and the sushi is amazing especially for the price. Happy Hour Specials kick ass as well!
