Tbh bro, this place is overpriced as hell, foods ight but bro, I mistakenly ordered from the wrong spot, and I told them I meant to order at this spot, and I wanted to cancel the order, they blocked both our numbers. Sorry lmao but damn bruh, we wanted to cancel the order ngl, even if it wasn’t aloud we was finna pick it up. Skill issue, L + ratio there are also much better sushi places in town, the service sucks booty ngl, and yall is pretty sensitive for blocking us ngl.

We have been going to Sushi Q for years now! It was a happy accident when we stumbled across this unassuming spot in a strip mall. The atmosphere is great, the quality of the fresh fish is phenomenal, the service is good, and the vibe is cool. If you love oysters, theirs are some of the best! My favorite dishes include the Tuna Blossom app, Chirashi plate, Uncle J roll, and Salmon Skin Hand Roll. My kids go crazy for the Teriyaki Chicken— and even I think it is delicious, and I don’t love the sweetness of teriyaki. My husband enjoys the Baby Calamari— it is always perfectly fried and has a great spice to it. The restaurant is pretty small, so expect a wait if you go during peak times. But, they also seem to do a heck of a Take Out business. We’ve gotten food to go there before— and it is always still great when we get it all the way home to Galt. Overall, this is my favorite sushi spot in Sacramento… we will always be back!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Sushi Q! The food was mostly excellent, especially the sushi rolls which were delicious. However, there were a couple of rolls where the cuts weren't perfect, causing them to come apart slightly at the bottom.

The drinks were a highlight - they were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The service was outstanding, with our server recommending sake to my girlfriend, who had never tried it before. Now she's a fan and eager to explore more sake options.

The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, even though the restaurant is on the smaller side and can get quite busy. It was packed when we visited, but that's a testament to its popularity.

I'm definitely looking forward to returning to Sushi Q to explore more items on their menu. Overall, it's a great spot for sushi and a memorable dining experience! 4 out of 5 stars.

Sunlight was kinda a bummer, but overall good food and service was spot on.

I often ordered sesame chicken from Sushi Q but lately, the amount had been decreasing. They give very little compare to before. They also don’t tell you that they are charging for extra sauce.

This place is great for sushi and non-sushi lovers alike. Having bit the heads off of several fish straight from the crisp Atlantic Ocean waters myself, I know high-quality raw fish. The sushi rolls, maki, and sashimi are top tier and worth the wait here when it is busy. For non-sushi lovers, the chicken teriyaki and sesame chicken are great and generous portions with miso soup and salad with a miso dressing I am dying to get the recipe for. The atmosphere is hip and also nostalgic, taking us back to a tradition when chefs and bartenders enjoyed talking with guests and took pride in serving others. The servers work well together and cover each other’s needs from what I see and the prep work would gain the approval of Gordon Ramsay. Let’s not forget about the vast array of Asian-style beers and sake’s, as well as good locally rotating beers on draft. I recommend coming here with at least one other or a party to share sake and try out sushi, sashimi, and even a large plate. If there is any room for suggestion, I’d say the music could rotate but it appeals to younger and older generations with a mellow yet upbeat vibration. Come here, be patient, and you will not regret!
