Sushi Tai, San Juan Capistrano CA

This was a wonderful experience! The service was impeccable! The food was amazing and words or pictures would never do it justice. Every plate was presented with such knowledge of the fish origin and preparation! Sake pairing was out of this world!
Sushi Tai is a wonderful surprise! I have already booked our next meal.

From what I remember, the sushi here is fantastic, and the staff is friendly.

Unfortunately, this was the second time I came by after confirming they were open on maps, only to discover they were actually closed. The hours listed on their website are also wrong, but the site appears to be about 3 years out of date.

We heard great things about this place. The second we walked in the mean old lady asked us to look at the menu and let us know if 'we are okay before we sit down. I said looks great can we sit down and then she said we have to wait 30 minutes, while only three tables were occupied and the rest of the restaurant was completely empty. Anyways I'm no stranger to eating out and I wish them all the best but that was a totally awkward experience.

Good, not great sushi. Quality is not reflective of the price as I expected the fish and presentation to be much better.

Walked in and they ran out of rice so they could not serve us. Would have been ok with the chef was not so rude. Ran out of rice!
