So this company doesn't issue refunds if you pay for something and they don't have it. They didn't have chicken but didn't tell me that when I went to pick up my chicken salad that I ordered. When I went back, they said they're out of chicken, and I said that's OK, I'll take a refund. They said they don't give refunds. I can't fathom a business that doesn't inform you when they're out of what you ordered and just waits until you figure it out, then says no refunds. No wonder their stock is plummeting and their business is failing.

Fresh. But almost $120 for 4 salads delivered? !? !? ! And a 1.5 hour delivery. Are you serious? !? !

Healthy eats with a lot of options! Stuff was friendly and attentive ️ They were soooo busy with deliveries but made everything “for here” quickly. You should definitely try their crispy rice treat it’s so delicious.

Somehow this place still has its dining room closed like it’s June 2020. We voted with our feet and went down the street to somewhere more with the times.

If you’re looking to eat salads on the sidewalk in Berkeley, this is your place!

Sweetgreen is usually great, we went to the one in Palo Alto for many years, but based on the other reviews here we’ll keep this one on the “skip” list and head to Walnut Creek instead.

Though my bowl was good. It 1.5 hours to receive an order made through uber eats. It was not ubers fault. Took way too long to fulfill a simple order. I ordered one bowl

Would be four stars but they discontinued online ordering recently, which is very inconvenient after they were online order only for like 3 years. Why can't both modes of ordering be active? The food is good, but one of the great things about this restaurant was the ability to schedule pickup ahead of time. Now that you can't do that, I'll be eating here much less.

Pick up only salads and bowls from about $15

The good: Healthy options for clean eaters.

The bad: Still in full pandemic mode. Online ordering and pick up at the window. A few seats outside on busy Shattuck Ave. Plastic forks and paper napkins, no knives or salt and pepper, much less a cup of water.

Dangerous employee working here- please be careful! A man working at the Berkeley Sweetgreen this past Sunday morning threw a heavy glass bottle behind my head as I was walking down Shattuck Ave (past Sweetgreen). It crashed into the street leaving glass everywhere. We had had no interaction, he just threw the glass. We were completely alone on the street as it was early- not sure if it was to scare me or threaten me or if he’s just absolutely insane. Obviously it is a safety hazard for so much broken glass to be in the street like that, but I’m concerned for anyone who has to interact with this man in the store. He was Caucasian, short stature with dark brown curly hair. I reported this to Sweetgreen but also want to warn customers! Please be careful when at this location!

Vegan options, very fresh, good ingredients… a healthy alternative to junk food!

It was doused in so much dressing (I did not ask for extra dressing), i could not stomach it. Had to be thrown out. Service was also terrible and the portion was ridiculously small for the prize.

The food I’ve had here in the past was good. But this location now does not let you in the restaurant or even let you place an order. You have to download the app, set up an account and profile, share your email, etc while you stand outside on the sidewalk. I took the trouble to do that and still gave up and walked away because ordering online is difficult. As you are swiping through 100 different salad modifications the app thinks you are adding stuff to your salad, which I wasn’t. I was just swiping. Do not go to this location unless you are a regular customer who has placed an order ahead.

They were out of lots of ingredients, especially the meats, yet they allowed the order to go through on the app and charged the same price. We paid regular price just for lettuce and avocado and a piece of lime that was sitting from the day before.

Very arrogant business, only cares about convince for themselves but not make it easy for customers. Quality also goes down a lot. Do not recommend.

I dislike having to use an app to order in person. Check your orders too, one of my salads was missing chicken, I would have gone back but I had already driven home.

Great location. Super well organized and always fresh. This place converted me into an online order only fan
