Swenson Park Golf Course, Stockton CA

Challenging disc golf course with water hazards and long distances from some tees to pins.

This place has turned into an amusement park IMO. Pretty soon there will be a Tilt-A-Whirl and a Ferris Wheel in the parking lot. Maybe it's just bad luck on my part, but every time I go there there's something going on. Whether it's disc golf, a band, a car show etc. Too many worlds colliding. I miss the peaceful golf course of old.

Great public golf course. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. The course is great for beginners. Great practice facilities. Good place to grab a quick bite to eat, whether you are playing golf or not. The locals are friendly too.

Another rate hike! Left on vacation came back fees went from $35 to $48 gentleman had the nerve to tell me this has always been there price.sorry Swenson your not worth all the squirrel holes everywhere.second rate green's, hard fairways and goose shir every where.your price was the only thing you had going for you much nicer courses around for that Price$$.

We had the Stockton Walk to End Alzheimer's today. We appreciate the support we received from the staff at the golf course.

Swenson Park Golf Course is a great place to hold events and grab a quick bite to eat between life. The course regularly opens every day at 6: 30am for golf and 7am for food.

My favorite course in Stockton. It’s affordable. It’s in pretty good shape for a muni. It’s fun, with a good layout and challenging holes, on both the championship and executive courses. Does at times tend to backup as there aren’t a ton of options for golf in the city. Especially at the price point Swenson offers.

Swenson is the course I learned how to Golf on with my Brother in Law. I like that it's Easy to get on and it is made for all types of Golfers. They also have a Great SnackBar.

Course is in pretty good shape. Greens are nice but slow. They were wet and needed mowing and rolling.

Another gem of a course where you’d least expect it. The maintenance guy clearly cares about his course as he was shoveling broken tees. Layout is wide open just about every hole, miss into the trees, you’ll be punished! Greens and tee boxes were excellent. Range wasn’t open and staff seemed a bit unorganized. Will definitely come back!

Fun track and a bit more difficult than you might think. Lots of weeds around the greens and just off fairway. Watch out for the roots from all the mature trees. Good day of golf.

It's a beautiful Golf Course reasonable rates and I love the nature out there. I highly recommend going out there. Love the car and bike show the veterans put on out there. It's all about our vets God Bless America which is still standing so far

My Son and Daughter inlaw had their wedding reception here October 2021 and it was perfect! The Manager and the staff did an awesome job with everything including serving, decorations and set up. The staff were on top of everything and always had a smile.
Thank you for the fabulous job and wonderful memories.
We will definitely use them again!

I was at the Keep Swenson Green fundraiser. The Rib Cook-Off, car show and golf tournament were exceptional

Update 4/2022. They've made a ton of improvements and the course is in good shape. Expect really slow play and long rounds, especially on the weekends!

The course was in good condition and the weather was perfect. The hotdog from the snack bar was good.

Finally have this park rebuilt and OPEN. Go check out the new setup they have. A huge improvement over the previous setup.

I will never go back. Our 4some had to wait almost 2 hours after booked tee time. People were told there were no refunds allowed. The place should never book so many so early after a tournament.

Course in pretty good shape for a public course, rough could use a mowing though little thick.

Course is in great shape. Greens are best I've seen. Nicest in the area. The best municipal course. Friendly staff. Needs a golf professional feel. It is a great value that Stockton needs to keep. A local Gem.
