Sylvan Learning of Glendale

We have both our 10 and 9 year old enrolled and we really enjoy the progress they've made so far. As a teacher myself I know it can be daunting to try and work with your own children, especially after the return to school they've all had, and we wanted their support time to be stress-free. We went with Sylvan for their flexibility and what they could do for extra summer support for them both. They will be continuing once school begins as well! The staff are courteous, helpful and really go out of their way to know the students who attend. Can't recommend them enough.

My daughter has been attending Sylvan of Glendale for a few months now. During her time attending sylvan she has improved greatly. Due to the pandemic, she was missing a lot of the reading and writing fundamentals she would have learn in kindergarten and first grade (she hated online classes). Sylvan helped my daughter improve her writing and reading skills to the point that her teachers have notice the big improvement.we will continue to attend Sylvan of Glendale for as long as we can.

Amazing! My tween and teenage daughter have been attending Sylvan of Glendale for over a year and have had the BEST results! Both of them struggled in school prior to the pandemic and struggled even more during. I enrolled them in Sylvan about a year ago and one daughter is now on the honor roll, the other is all A’s and B’s. Sylvan not only helped them get to grade level but they also provide homework help. They’ve worked with my schedule numerous times when it comes to rescheduling seasons. The staff is amazing and friendly. Jessica is always so quick to reply for any questions. I am so glad I made the decision to enroll my daughters. I feel less stressed as a parent worried about my kids grades and my girls feel great about themselves and love showing off their grades now! I don’t even have enough THANK YOU’S!

What a blessing this center has been! We sought out tutoring for our 2nd grader that was falling below grade level for reading this past year. We had initially tried another method of tutoring through a popular competetor and was not pleased with the assembly line approach and impersonal style. Sylvan personalizes your childs learning needs, and keeps the parents updated of their progress through routine conferences. They even give you the option to connect with the student's teachers to assist in any learning needs their teacher identifies. The staff has been extremely kind, professional, and flexible. The center is friendly and my child has loved attending the sessions. My 2nd grader loved it so much my other child in kindergarten requested to attend sessions, so we signed him up too. Great experience!

Sylvan of Glendale is an amazing team of outstanding professionals who are ready to help your child in the area they need. You and your child's teacher will determine the plan and Sylvan of Glendale will make everything possible to make it a success. Unlike other tutoring centers, they will not simply push their own "success strategy", they will work on the customized plan for your child and prioritize YOU. Because one size doesn't fit all when it comes to learning. My 7th grader and I are very grateful for their professionalism, help and for accommodating our needs.

We've checked out different tutoring centers in the area. Sylvan was the only one that my kids kept asking to come back to. The staff are extremely professional. Looking forward to our kids' progress.

Sylvan has proven to be the best tutoring center to go, especially during these difficult times for schools, families, and children. They do both online and in person tutoring, and they are both equally as great. The new location just opened and it is very spacious, the staff is wonderful, great location and plenty of parking. I am one to do my research and homework to find the best in the area, and this center tops the charts. The director of this center, Jessica, is very knowledgeable and friendly. She is dedicated to helping families and finding something that works for every budget. Their prices are even on the low end of centers in the Glendale area. I would highly recommend bringing your children here if you want them to make progress. Thank you Sylvan!

I have my daughter here for the past few months and i really like their service they offer to my daughter. What i like more is my daughter needs help with homework in the subject she is getting tutoring they help her. Staff is really nice too and friendly.

Taking my daughter to Sylvan was a really good idea! She is doing much better in school and she learned so much! They give there best to make sure everyone is understanding the topic they are working on. My daughter really enjoys going to Sylvan because of the fun learning ways, interesting topics to write about and how much better she is doing at school! That is why I would rate Sylvan 5 stars! Highly recommend to all parents. The tutors are Very professional. First, they do a test and then based on the test results they teach your kids. They teach reading, writing, and essentials of the English language.

If your child needs help in any school subject, this is the place for you to sign them up. The staff is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and super flexible, especially during this unprecedented time of Covid-19. The zoom tutoring classes have tremendously helped my son.
