Sylvan Learning of Northridge

It has been a great experience. My son really enjoys the activities and I am grateful for the personalized learning plan that they provide for him.

My son was struggling and I decided to have him tested by Sylvan and they really helped me understand how I could support him. After he was tested a lot of my answers were answered. Having him attend to get support from Sylvan has been the best decision.

My son has been attending Sylvan Learning in Northridge for the past 3 months and his reading has improved dramatically. I was initially hesitant about the amount of time they proposed and the associated costs but I am so pleased with the outcome. Cathy and her team have been so warm and amazing. My son attends tutoring sessions 3 days a week for 2 hours. He is more confidant about his reading abilities and excitedly points out new words. Before we started with Sylvan we struggled for months trying to complete homework tasks at home. I am so thankful for Sylvan and all of the growth that has occurred. I couldn’t be more pleased!

My daughter Destiny has only been going there for 2 months the Improvement I've seen already is Amazing! Her confidence has gone completely up and she had her s.a. T.tests today and she couldnt stop saying mommy I'm so happy I just learned all the things that were on my tests at sylvan. The teachers and staff that work there are Wonderful and patient with all destinys needs. Thankyou truly for helping my daughter.

I am eternally grateful for the experience we have had while attending Sylvan. My son has gone from being a student with anxiety around his academic abilities to a student who is almost overly confident in his classrooms. The staff at this Sylvan has met us at every challenge and given support where needed. They are part of our village. I couldn't be happier to come back after this pandemic with support for my younger child who had a really rough year.

Cathy the director from the start has been amazing! I wanted my daughter to build her confidence with reading and writing. The confidence level she came out with on the first day, was insanely amazing.

My daughter was very shy, change has not always been easy but now she doesn’t cry or worry when I drop her off at school.

I can’t wait to see how much more she grows!

The lack of attention my daughter is getting at school this year turned us to Sylvan and it's the best decision my wife and I have made for her. The confidence she's gaining by succeeding academically has translated to a better attitude at home. She's realizing all the things she can accomplish because someone is taking the time to actually teach her in a close environment. Thank you Sylvan, we should have done this long ago.

I really like all the teachers there very nice and passionate mr Ryan is really fun and nice also I like coming here to learn.

My kids love coming here it is fun and exciting. They learn and grow and make friends. As a parent I could not be happier.

My daughter had fallen behind in Math and English. Sylvan learning center helped her and she reached her current grade level knowledge in these subjects. Her confidence in creased and the staff and teachers made the learning enjoyable.

This was the best investment! My son has learned so much and has become so confident and works better independently. His grades are better now I know is because of the time he spent with the Sylvan staff, thank you for everything you do!

Sylvan has been a great resource for my son. I signed up my son few months ago. I’ve seen his progress all along. He has improved his comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary. Teachers and coordinators are very professional and flexible. They provide regular report for my son. I’m so glad that I joined Sylvan.

My daughter needed some extra help during this time of distance learning and Sylvan has helped us. My daughter enjoys coming and is extremely motivated by their token incentive program. I like how they test each child to find the gaps and then provide a personalized program to help each child grow. My daughter's confidence has grown and for that it was worth every penny.

During this pandemic, Sylvan has really given my son the additional support we weren't able to obtain from his school. He really enjoys going there and we can definitely see the difference in his classwork. He is now more confident, independent, and doesn't struggle as much with his reading and writing projects. We are excited to see his progress in the writing program. Thank you to all the teachers who are here to help!

Sylvan learning has been a great experience for us. Our kids have learned multiple subjects, which they improved on. They also make learning fun having games and a break session. I really recommend this place for your kids to learn.

Sylvan has been a great learning experience. They have great teachers and have great ways to teach you. They have been helping a lot with my vocabulary, reading skills, and many more.

My daughter is entering the first grade at a new school and just finished her reading assessment at Sylvan Northridge. The teachers are amazing! I was very impressed with how clean, invitiving and organized this center is. My daughter was very excited to see the Student Store and was very eager to start at Sylvan. She didn't want to leave. Kudos to Ms. Cathy and Ms. Stacey along with their admin Alan who went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed.

Thank heaven on earth for their amazing team still working + doing 1on1 tutoring via our homes during this time. Grateful + blessed to have found this center. Cathy + Stacey are a true team ethics of support allow every child to succeed, with their individual needs! My daughter has higher sensory awareness + our regular school system isn’t for her. As this time brings us all to a higher awareness to the ones we love + care for the inner work of knowing what our children teach us daily + how we can still embrace learning together. Healing is happening with high benevolence we will get through this

Sylvan helped me a lot in math. The teachers helped boost my confidence and supported me in each question. Ms. Sheila is my teacher and she is so positive. If I’m ever stressed out, she looks in the bright side of things.
