My son has definitely grown in his knowledge of mathematics since learning from Sylvan. Ultimately, proof is in the pudding and we are pleased with how far he has come and how his knowledge continues to expand with Sylvan’s guidance.

My 7 year old needed support with Language Arts concepts that I was having a hard time teaching him. Within a couple of visits he had the concepts down and his reading improved tremendously

So I finally enrolled my son who is in 5 grade at the beginning of the school year it has made a big chang, his grade level in reading was a grade above. Last four years my son coming to sylvan.

My daughter has been going for almost a year and I've seen much improvement in her education. She's built confidence in herself and it has shown in improvement at school.

They worked tirelessly to help our son, who has high functioning autism and, well, is a teenager!

What concerns me is that a tutor will teach multiple children different subjects at one time. I don't understand how that can be considered quality tutoring. It concerns me that the children mostly follow prompts on a tablet. That's not what I'm paying for. And it concerns me that in speaking with the Director how he would explain the quality of his program by being derogatory towards others. He even indirectly called parents wanna be teachers. I did not see one happy child in the establishment.

It was surprising to me that the director did not understand how the Sylvan Reading program he held so highly in regard, even worked. He had to grab a tablet and look through the program to explain it to me. Even then, I could tell my questions were frustrating for him. And he did not want to spend time actually explaining their curriculum or process.

Looking through the curriculum, as quickly as I could, I would explain that it is an open and go curriculum through technology use. The teacher is prompted. There is not a personal touch more than a placement test and working through the ranks.

All About Reading is an incredible at home curriculum I would recommend for anyone needing more help with their children's Reading levels!

Sylvan has been great for my daughter. Within three weeks of attending Sylvan i saw a difference in my daughters learning. The staff is also really sweet and attentive, they stay in contact with you and update you on anything your child needs.

Since starting at Sylvan our daughter has raised her grades in every subject and gained greater self-confidence that she can master any subject. She really likes her instructors and looks forward to her time at Sylvan each week. Thank you Sylvan!

They work really well with children and understand their needs and communicate to ask the parents where they are and what they are doing. Both my children in kindergarten and first grade are needed help to advance to the next level, they understood that and worked with them so they can get there.

Paul and Sarah are very knowledgeable and professional. My son (6) says it's so much fun and enjoys the math lessons. He especially loves the motivation program and stays motivated, engaged, and focused. He's also enjoyed all the teachers he's worked with.
