I had oral surgery back on 12/21/2022. I had three bone grafts in different areas and one implant. Let's start from the beginning of the day of my surgery. I chose sleeping pills because it's cheaper. Anyway, his assistant gave me Tylenol first. After 15 mins, he gave me sleeping pills. After less than 30 minutes, his assistant asked me to walk into the surgery room. They prepared me for surgery. Dr. Polyakov started by injecting me with anesthesia. I felt the needle go through my bone because I heard a click and felt the needle go all the way to my bone. It hurt me. I said, Ouch. He said, "Don't make that noise".

In the second scenario, I was a little bit sleepy while his performing his surgery. He started the surgery at 9 am and finished at 11: 30 am or so. After he finished 3 bone grafts from different areas, he worked on the last area to do my implant. That's the time, I was choked by his assistant several times. His assistant pressed her hands against my neck which choked me. Dr. Polyakov finally said, stopped moving, but I didn't stop. I continue to move multiple times for them to stop. I want to say that I was choking. So finally, Dr. Polyakov stopped and his assistant removed the cover on my face. I told them I was choking, so his assistant finally adjust her hands. After my surgery, I came home around 12: 30 pm. I didn't even ask the lady who brought me home to walk me from the front gate to my apartment because I didn't feel drowsy & sleepy. I wanted to go home so badly and didn't want to see any of them again!

Anyway, I ate something and took a shower. Guess what? ! The sleeping pill finally kicked in while I was in the shower. I was angry because his sleeping pills didn't work until past 1 pm. I had to drag myself to finish showering. Imagine how that feels feeling his heavy hands, getting choked, and listening to all the noises he is making like drilling, etc.

By the way, I selected him because of his 30 years of experience although he charged more than the other oral surgeons. I didn't know how careless & cold he was after 30 years of experience. In addition, his hands are heavy. After experiencing that on my first oral surgery, I didn't go back for my 2 weeks check-up to remove my stitches. After a month, I went to the dentist he recommended instead to remove my stitches. I was traumatized. But my dentist told me to go back so he can check my gums. So I went back to 2 check-ups. All he did was look at my gums, he did not do an X-ray or ct scan. I decided not to go back because I lost interest. After all, he ignored the pain from my implant. My question is, why is my implant still hurting after 4 months?

After 4 months, my implant still hurts. Although l need to wait 4 more months to heal, I decided to consult another oral surgeon to check on my implant and bone grafts. I want another surgeon to finish what he started. I realized that I couldn't go through with the same pain and suffering again. I wish it was a nightmare; but, IT WAS NOT! I experienced it. He made 3 big mistakes: miscalculation of sleeping pills; his assistant choked me, and the last one is, he prescribed tramadol for excruciating pain. I was miserable and in so much pain for 2 days. I begged my dentist to help me and prescribe me something stronger like ibuprofen. Thanks to her and she taught me how to take ibuprofen for throbbing and pain. Imagine one implant & three bone grafts that left me stitches left and right and up and down. WOW! Tramadol for excruciating pain! A cold-hearted oral surgeon.

On May 8,2023. I consulted another oral surgeon because I was ignored by the dentist and Dr. Vladimir Polyakov. They think nothing is wrong. I paid another oral surgeon for consultation, ct scan and to treat my infection. The reason for the continuous pain and swelling from my dental implant and the pain and sensitivity from my bone graft are infected. Unbelievable! One of the biggest mistakes I have ever done is hiring an experienced oral surgeon who can not do his job properly. My story is to help you make the right decision.
