Sysco, Fremont CA

Horrible, the whole place is very unorganized, the staff is rude, if your a driver they make you wait over 1 hr while they're there just looking at you having side conversations and they will guarantee that you are late to your next destination

Get a call for a door thats not ready, call and they tell me go to the guardshack because their phones dont work. Wait 30 minutes head there to be told I have to walk back and talk to a supervisor. Supervisor quickly got me a new door and unloaded started seconds after parking. He was great.

Ironically, I got in and out of here in under an hour. The 1 star rating is for a few different reasons. First, you are required to give the check in people your ID and they hold it until you are finished. I do not trust some gate guard, who barely speaks English, to have my license in their possession. They do not have lines painted to guide you into the bays. Do not assume you are straight just because you seem to be lined up to the guy next to you. The big thing is their lumper fees. It cost $124 to lump 3 pallets. That is a scam.

The check in dude was 50 minutes late because he wanted some coffee. Nice. I’ll be doing 10 hours at the door and I ain’t pulling out, because they stole my time. If possible, do not come here

100 ROTTEN EGGS. There is no overnight parking. Receiving opens at 4.30Am. Do not come before that.lots of homeless people trailer, tents on streets. Takes forever to check in.if you can avoid the place.
Zero stars.they keep your license at gate till you ready to leave.

My appointment was 7 am it’s 2: 45pm now and they still didn’t finish unloading me. Drivers! Avoid this place if you value your time

Sysco is ok, but their lumber service which is separate from Sysco, is unorganized. Appt at 0800, its 12: 23 and they just start unloading, pathetic. Syco getting bad representation from this outfit.someone in management needs to go talk to them. Waiting for frozen pond water to melt. Plus they take your drivers licences, and dont give it back until you check out back at front guard shack, this is not right, I shouldn't have to give my license to anyone to keep. That's how forgery can happen. Worst system ever. O ya that's right, sanctuary city staus.

They are not coordinated, trucks in and out. They KEEP your license in the guard shack the whole time. I don't even like that!

This place is the slowest sysco in the country.and ive been to almost all of them.the only good thing about this place is that they have a bathroom to use. Because you are going to need it.

Check in fairly fast, docks are well lit up with new led lights, and plenty of room to back into. Lots is trucks and campers parked on Stewart St though, watch out for pedestrians.so far not too bad a place.

Be prepared to sent long hours waiting for a door and to get unloaded. My appointment was at 6: 30 am and I got door at 9: 30. By the time it was set and done, it was almost 9 whole hours. If you do not have more than 10 hours on your e-log, then this is a major issue. Because the weight stations are at the next exits and no truck stops for over 60 miles.

Worst place I've been to in years, rude security and very bad English, confiscated my driver's license until I was unloaded and leaving. 2 hrs 40 min for One pallet, $124.00 for lumper.stay far away from this place! I'd rate this 0 stars but had to rate one to post

BEWARE. Avoid delivering or receiving at this location. These people hate their jobs and HATE YOU. This is the worst places I've delivered to and the rudest.

I would give them (-10 stars). This is one of the worst places to make deliveries Guard shack employees And warehouse employees very slow and rude I am here for 4 and half hours and they just started to unload

We've been here for 4 hours and is still here I'll say that kind of sucked there's been trucks that have been here longer than us and I'm hungry there vending machine does not work just saying

4 hours to offload it 2 hours waiting on paperwork these people go on my list never to come here again

As far as sysco goes this one is at the bottom.over priced lumpers they hold your license at the grd shack not good.your giving your address to people you don't know, think about it?

Takes forever to unload

You can be as early as you like for appointments
4am to 12pm Mon to Fri
If you are even 30 minutes late then the late fees stack up quick

Park with the homeless on the streets outside.
When are are checking in at the gate it is best to pull inside the lot and check-in to two different windows

Inside it has a really bad drivers restroom and slow unloading and receiving.

Expect at least 6 hours

Minimum 4 hours if you have one product

Make sure you add extra $$$ just to get unloaded

8.13.18 I have been at a door since 0650, it is now 1031. According to my weight gauges the trailer isn't even half empty. I've been to other sysco DC's in the past but I believe this one will turn out to be the worst. My appointment was for 0700, and they still have over half the trailer to unload. RIDICULOUS.update. Finally received my paperwork at 1342. The dumbass cholas at the shack assumed I didn't speak Spanish. They were very surprised when I punked they're fat asses and called corporate about racism. Very f.at ugly putas.

The lumper was very nice. Got empty fairly quick. As usual the Mexican women at check in and out were white haters. This is America. Why do Mexican women treat white men like dogs. This is my country. Send the interlopers back take my tax money that feeds houses and gives them free medical services and build! The fence to keep them out. I can't even afford health insurance.
