Sysco Los Angeles reviews
18First time here. AFTER unloaded surprise that’ll be $209 to unload 8 pallets. Only in America do you pay to deliver freight. I recall a time when the fee was upfront and if was too high you could unload yourself. Lumper #scam
Arrived here at 04: 30, waited on the street till the entrance, my appointment is at 06: 00, got into the dock at 06: 02, unloading was finished at 09: 30 and bol was given at 09: 51,
Came in a bit early, looks like trucks are parking overnight on Reyes Dr. Just past truck gate. Only room for about 4 to five.its a dead end street.
Very bad place for deliver, I spend 5 hrs for unloading, poor lumper’s service and Sysco receiver too lacy, I hope not return to this place
In and out fairly quickly. Didn't have a full load, but way more than the Sysco in Las Vegas, which took 3 hours to get my paperwork to me.
Very poor service. Arrived at 5: 00 AM, unloaded for 5 hours, paid $ 370 for unloading. No one answers questions when they finish work. Not polite and not friendly staff.
Typical Sysco Foods! 0600am appointment and still in dock door. Plan on them using your hours up for the day. It’s ridiculous!
Place is very nice, great facilities, love the restaurant.
EXCEPT: making it past the sec.guard gate is a big mess, they really need to modetnize their check-in process, couls easily take 2hrs at times to make it past that gate while blocking traffic on the street, not nice Sysco.
I was in and out of this place in under 90 minutes.everyone from security guards to lumpers were hella cool.not sure what the gripes are about, i didn’t see anyone waiting that long here.
This place is a joke. 1100 appointment didn't get in a door until 1330. Don't ever come here te day after a holiday. That will be their excuse.
Quick getting into a door. Not so quick getting unloaded. People are friendly. Takes awhile waiting in line to get through the guard shack line. The lumper fee is expensive. Also, you can park on the side street across from the entrance. Just not on the actual street.
Good experience I was able to get in line to check in two hours before my appointment big help parking is a concern there is none I found a dead end street almost in line with the entrance to Sysco and was able to wait there it was a two hour wait before my appointment time so this is just fine friendly and helpfull staff there is a lunch truck that got there at 0600 and I seen a sign with directions to the cafe I didn't get to check it out so i cant comment on it maybe next time
The place as a whole was really nice and the people were very friendly. The cafe lounge has good food for a fair price which was a great thought to help drivers out. Three stars because of the rude gate guard that checked us in he acted like we were just bothering him by showing up. He didn't give any information about the place or where to go nothing just a door number. We had two additional stops so we resealed the trailer and on the way out the same guard threw a fit that he was supposed to look inside the trailer and he would have sealed it. NOT HIS JOB! Our trailer our product our customers OUR JOB TO PROTECT OURSELVES AND OUR CUSTOMERS! This is the same thing we were hired to do with your product and you even checked the seal to make sure we did our job correctly as contracted. So one rude unhelpful person should be explained to how to hive out good complete instructions and not assume that others can read minds.
They Open the gate before 6am
Trucks park on the private road leading to the gate but not inside the gate overnight
Quick unload but a long wait for paper work
But still reasonable
Very high lumpers fee though
I got here at 6: 30. My appointment was at 8.it's knocking on 10: 30 and I'm still not unloaded
This is for truckers.getting into the place is fine and dandy but when you get there the night before, there is no where to park. I found a side road that other drivers park at but depending on the time you get there, good luck. They need to make it so you may come in and park the night before if you need to do so.
No one speaks English here, bias racism. Workers were rude and Ill never come here again. Sloppy with forklifts. I dont recommend driver to come here.
This place took me forever, got in at 5: 45am for appointment at 6am, didn’t get out of there till 12: 45pm. Make sure you your broker pay Tonu and you have plenty of hours. Food truck is always there so you can have a nice meal.
