Tacocino Gourmet Tacos reviews
27I work nearby and a customer recommended this place to me and my team. I can say definitely happy with the recommendation! Amazing food. Can't get enough of the Surf n Turf burrito.
I love this place but 1 out of every 5 times I get their chicken tacos the chicken is completely nasty & burnt. Same with the shredded beef. I love their taco Tuesdays as well
We’ve been ordering taco Tuesdays from Tacocino. These tacos are packed full of flavor and are very meaty. My husband had a burrito and he said it was awesome as well. We will continue to come back. Can’t wait for them to be able to sit down inside the restaurant. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
The chicken tinga burrito in salsa verde was delicious and so were the street tacos! The chimichurri taco was great as well, very flavorful. It was also on the larger side.
The service and food is fantastic and well portioned. I had the roasted pork nachos, so huge my aunt and uncles burritos were huge. The surrounding is warm and relaxing. I live in Ohio and I will definitely go back every time we go back to California.
Other reviewers are correct - service is lacking. I cannot agree with other reviewers who raved about the food. Shrimp tacos were mostly cabbage and sauce, not much shrimp and it was charred and chewy. The Surf and Turf tacos literally had one tiny shrimp, but a fair amount of tough, tasteless beef. Husband said the beef tacos were still better than the carnitas.
Great food and great service. I had there enchilada plate and it was great! Just the right amount of sauce and the rice and beans were sooooo fresh. Definitely going back.
OMG! It's wonderful to have a restaurant of this high quality servicing and available in this area! I hope people come in and taste what great food is supposed to taste like!
Unique flavor combinations & good service.
Chips & salsa are not complimentary, but you can get them free with a Yelp check-in.
Ground beef taco w/ dill pickle is really good!
The potato tacos have great flavor!
Fries are excellent!
Food is bland and unseasoned. I can tell the meat is old and reheated by how chewy the texture is. I definitely will never come here again and would recommend you save your money and not go here.
I ordered the carne asada street tacos. The steak was very chewy and wasn't marinated. The tacos were over loaded with cilantro and onions. It sure left much to be desired being a gourmet taco place. They also charge $3 for chips and salsa. I was not impressed and will not be returning.
Food is delicious, I've tried veggie, potato, rice, beans and the elotes and EVERYTHING is good. All salsas are great with flavor. This place is a must try
Good food, flavors are on point. Good selection of local and Mexican beers. Only watch out is the prices. $4 for one taco is a bit excessive. Nonetheless, I recommend this place.
Tasty baja fish taco and surf n turf tacos. Decently priced. Could have used a few more shrimp in the surf n turf taco. Maybe had two small pieces. Probably go back for the baja fish and try other tacos. Waitress was friendly and personable.
Badly seasoned meat, tried to “recreate” the iconic street taco and it was awful. The burritos to go destroyed the bag and we almost dropped them because of it. The green salsa was gross, and pretty uninspired. Overall, not a good experience.
Absolutely incredible, best surf and turf burrito in town, great music, and friendly service. I can't recommend this place enough!
I had 3 of their street tacos and they were average quite small actually what wasn't average was the price 9.70dllrs.
Food was good. Busy taco Tuesday. Prices are a little high for the portion size but food was delicious.
Tacos were alright, $2 a street taco for taco Tuesday isn’t really a deal. Had a Mexican craft beer there that was pretty good. The employees were friendly.
Food is good, definitely not gourmet and a bit pricey. Our take out order was missing a few items. Called in, was told to go back and items would be ready with a refund. Not the case when I returned. Drove all the way back wasting my time and gas to be told. It was one or the other, way to make things right.
