Tacos Al Pastor reviews
15The food was not that great. Nothing special about it. You would think if the name of your restaurant is Tacos al Pastor the pastor would be great, but it is definitely not as good as i had expected.
Great place the service is good the people are very nice very good food I go there once in a while but I also tell my family and friends about it.
I just moved into the area not long ago I live right down the street by City college I really enjoy the food there the service is good nice people I go there twice a week and sometimes on weekends when I have my grandson he really enjoys the food in fact I was just there today I had a torta
Today I order two meals, one 7mares and one beef flauta meal. I asked that the greens for the flauta meal be put on a separate plate and NO CHEESE on the beans and a Squirt soda, I was asked which tortilla for the 7 mares meal, I said corn.when the drinks were served I was given a sprite soda NOT the squirt soda I asked for, I had to go back into the restaurant and request My SQUIRT soda.then when the meals came, on the beef flauta meal the greens were on the plate NOT SEPARATED like I asked for there was CHEESE in the beans, which I am allergic to, the tortillas were FLOUR NOT CORN! I had ask for another plate for the greens I couldn't eat the beans I didn't even bother to ask for the corn tortillas, I was that disgusted with the service and the food.if I have to re- request everything when all I want to do is enjoy My meal, this is NOT the restaurant I will return to.no stars!
Love this place. Do you think you could add a tortilla salad option for people who want lower cal. No complaints though. Good food and good service.
Taco Tuesday was an awesome way to try their different meats! We tried carnitas, cabeza, and of course al pastor. All were excellent and best of all $1! They are smaller tortillas for taco Tuesday so you will need more than usual!
Delicious pastor tacos. Also got some asada and chorizo and those were just as tasty. Can't beat their taco Tuesday special. Highly recommend this place!
They have 3 size tacos.regular, super and "small". Their small taco is a regular taco w carne asada meat was delicious as well as the cheese enchilada and beef enchilada. The rice and beans were almost un-edible tho. Beans although pureed tasted burnt and the rice tasted like rice from a chimichanga weirdly enough. I'll probably stick to "tequila's" restaurant when I'm on that side of town
Food was sub-par, not up to typical "Mexican" food standards. Meat was dry, rice had burn flavor, beans had no flavor and for being refried, they were very watery. Very unsatisfied and disappointed.
A friend turned me on to this place in the mid 80's. It was in a little ice cream like shack across the street from thier current location. Growing up on Taco Bell, I had no idea what mexican food was. This opened me up to an entirely new mouth watering experience. I've tried many different styles of mexican cooking and Tacos al Pastor will always be my go to.
Ordered a cocktail for $20 only got 6 shrimp ️ordered a Chile relleno burrito no flavor. Ordered a Jamaica once again no. Nothing like my Oxnard La Bonita tacos️️️
The restaurant name is the same as the taco I used to order from the best Mexican food truck in Los Angeles long ago. While such an item is not on the menu, their "taco chico" is it! Best taco in town! Try it with their salsa, spicy enough but not too much to overpower the taco al pastor's flavor. Eating it brings fond memories of fun time with friends in LA. They should expand beyond SJ, into Mountain View area!
One of the best spots to eat Mexican food. Big space non crouded. Excellent food and customer service. T. V's. What more could you want.
I love there hard shell grilled chicken tacos. They are 299 each and i get 2. They are large and lots of meat. Lots of letice salsa sourcream. Cheese. After you eat them, you can eat the let over salad and pour the green sauce over it. Its like 2 meals.
