Tacos El Gallo, El Cajon CA

Bomb delicious tacos! It was my first time and came here because of the great reviews! I got birria, pastor, and tripas. They even have penguinos and gansitos inside the fridge (same as in mexico). Come here if your craving a bit of mexico:)

Amazing al pastor! So delicious! Chorizo tacos are yummy, as are the pollo. I love the beans too!

Basic taco shop with great tacos at a good price. Not a great location and basic but clean dining area, but exceptional food.

The fam and I were looking for some good old school street tacos! 1st time here and definitely hit the Spot!

Been a while since I been here and decided try these new items on the menu! I started things off with the carne asada nachos and the chile Relleno taco! Both were amazing! Definitely worth driving here for.
Then I got the New York steak taco which I got last time but I remember I absolutely loved it so I got it again. The service was great and so much variety of drinks in the restaurant. My favorite out of all three was the Chile Relleno taco! Can't wait time come back and see what they bring next!

Can you say Taco's? Well I'd you can say that, say Tacos El Gallo.great tacos. First time here. Carna asada, chicken, adobada, barria.this place is legit. I believe the manager helped us, very friendly and explained three menu.also really took care of us. Check it out! It's good!

These are some of the best tacos that I’ve eaten. I had the Birria, cabeza, carnitas, and the chile relleno taco. The service was great as well. I’ll definitely come back!

Love these tacos! The chicken. NY steak, and adobada are so good! Salsas are very good as well. I am here almost weekly it seems like but they are just really good. The steak is so tender, chicken is juicy, and the adobada is very tasty.

Great tacos, great cashiers & disrespectful guya who work there. They hit on women customers and are impolite to men. Bad guys for sure.

Great food. Your more expensive tacos are a little too expensive they are very delicious but Because one isn't enough and buying two its hard to swallow the cost associated and I'm a big dude so eating 3 is not out of the question but because of that it turns you guys into a once in a while place and not a "go to" place.by not having someone up front that speaks fluent English it's kind of a pain because if you have a special request it makes it extra difficult. The girl the other day was very sweet and helpful and tried calling someone to translate for a different customer but it could all have been easily avoided. I ordered the dollar tacos. I ordered 6 tacos and what i got was 6 singular bites and compared to the competitor theirs are. 15 cents more and it's like three times the Taco easily they were delicious but it left me wishing I'd ordered a dozen. I want you guys to succeed which is why I'm giving you my honest feedback but as of right now you guys aren't even playing the same game let alone on the same field

This place did not have customers plus very slow on taking your order so if they are not doing there job why go there

If you're looking for delicious tacos this place is a must. The Tripas are so crispy and delicious. The tacos de Nopal are fire they way they prepare it a little quemadito it's perfect.

One of the best taco shops in El cajon, CA. It is really like Tijuana style tacos in Tijuana Baja California. Simple menu folks = good food!

The quesabirria will knock your socks off! It's definitely out of this world! The meat and cheese are both SO flavorful! You've gotta try it! Right off I-8, so it's easy to get to, and there's plenty of parking. It's definitely a must if ya ask me

This place is pretty good as far as just getting small tacos are concerned they taste good. I wouldn't plan on getting anything big or them using huge tortillas like a lot of the other Mexican foods in the area do you. This is a place to buy like four or five tacos for one meal per person.

Yummy tacos. I recommend the New York steak tacos; you get a full steak on each. I prefer to get the food to go, but they do have a dining area.

Great tacos. A little pricey but worth every penny. Fast service and amazing customer service.

I’m giving three starts because I’m not into destroying business. Here is some constructive criticism- the meat was chopped in the Birria which is not correct. We ask for Salsa with our order, it had none. You should never put the cilantro and onion Into the birria, You should separate it and allow the customer to add it.

The meat seems bit to fatty and not shank meat, and pre boiled in water prior and not made correctly.
