Tacos El Gordo reviews
13 Friend described it as the best tacos. I'm from seattle and I made the trip for the highlight to be this place.
DIdnt s
dissapoint! Asado, adobada, quesadilla, le lengua, and healthy serving of salsas.very good.would suggest opening one in seattle tacoma area!
I love there tacos they are really good and juicy you guys are the best no one can beat you guys tacos
This is a popular taco joint and the place is packed with locals and tourists. Plenty of parking in the back lot and street parking in front. They have both indoor seating as well as outdoor in a make shift tent. They have 2 close by locations, one is for dine in and the other just couple blocks away is only drive through. The food however is just plan and not quite as tasty as other places in San Diego.
Had the adobada quesadilla 2 carne asada and a small asada fries everything was excellent plus a big plus for the taqueros helped me on my selection very courteous staff and super friendly definently will continue to go back while I'm still in San Diego.
Somebody recommended this taco place. It was very good. I tried three different kind. Pastor, Asado y Chorizo. The best was Asado (Beef). Great taco place!
From Atlanta. This place is legit! Tried a few tacos, the best hands down is the spicy pork!
I had heard great things about Tacos El Gordo for a while but had not had a chance to go. I only regret not going sooner. Everything was so amazingly good. Just writing this my mouth is watering to go again.
This place is legendary. If you have not stopped in before, it is an absolute must. The best authentic street style tacos I’ve ever had in my life. I think my record is about seven or eight tacos in one sitting, it’s that good.
Believe the hype! The adobada is pork roasted on a spit and sliced right into your tortilla! The pork is not spicy hot, but full of flavor. It's very juicy and reminds me of Chinese bbq pork - cha siu.
We tried the tacos, mulas, and vampiros. We added avocado to the tacos, and they did not skimp. The vampiros were delicious with the melted browned cheese and crunchy char on the tortilla really elevated the dish. Get it all.
The food was pretty good! Not bad, but not the best either. The one thing I do dislike are the way we line up. You go in different lines and by the time you get what you want your food is cold. Maybe if they did a better system of ordering food.
Fatty hard beef, chewy tortillas, plastic cheese- I don’t understand the hype with this place.
Once you figure out the ordering system (you can’t really go wrong, though) you will love this authentic taco experience. The loaded fries are definitely worth adding on to your tray full of tacos and such.
Tacos are okay, just a little bit grease and expensive! For the price you pay for one person eats 2 in L. A.
