The tacos are good but the ordering and paying system is chaos when you pay for the tacos they get cold. The bathroom smells very bad

OVERRATED! And OVERPRICED. Disappointed, first off, they had 3 lanes to order different tacos, tacos de carne asada, al pastor, carne asada fries. Confusing af.

The food had no flavor. The horchata was from Tap/Carbonated, not fresh.

The dining area was filled with hella moscas!

Everyone on here giving it 5star is tripping. Obviously, they ner had good tacos or carne asada fries.

The tacos are good as always, but the people working there have the worst attitude. They are rude, as if you were asking them for free tacos. For an extra sauce they make you a face that even takes away your hunger. When you pay, they don't even say thank you and throw you the change. I will NEVER eat there again.

Best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time! Parking was difficult but good and customer service was amazing!

The tacos are delicious, tripa pastor, etc. The cleaning of the restaurant is not good and also the quesadilla lady has a bad attitude, she gets angry if you ask her for onions and chilis. But I will definitely be back because the tacos are super delicious!

A must for anyone visiting San Diego and wanting tacos that even my family members who live in Mexico say are superior. This is as authentic as you can get without your passport. Whenever I have friends visit I have them try one of each taco blindly; otherwise how would I convince them to try head, tongue, and tripe? The real star here is the adobada, which always has a line for placing your order. Wash it down with a Mineragua, or cool off the heat with a paleta.

I stopped eating here a couple years ago. It just wasn't meeting the usual quality and taste. Stopped by today, everything was excellent, service was great, food was on point and drive thru makes ordering much easier.

UPDATED REVIEW, I spoke too soon. Last week's visit was terrible. The AL Pastor was not cooked through. The meat was tasteless. I'll be taking another break from their tacos. I don't understand why their cooks are so inconsistent.

It was my first time there and I definitely didn't like the system they have. You have to wait until you have all your food in one chat and then line up to pay, by which time your food is already cold.
The flavor of the tacos was good 3/5.
The truth is that I would not return to this place.

FIRST TIME HERE AND I WONT GO BACK EVER!
I'm giving them 2 stars because the tacos have decent flavor. Minus the fact that the asada Tacos are salty and had mostly fat and they only put one tortilla so it immediately fell apart.
Not a good start.
But here are the REAL ISSUES.
The quesadilla was over $6 which was a joke because they served it using a tiny corn tortilla.it was freaking tiny with little meat. And the tortilla was burnt. >> refer to the photo >>
Our tacos were placed on a plate upside down.seriously? Why the heck would you do that? So everything fell out.
The spicy pork tacos are ok. They gave us only 2 salsas and didn't ask us what kind.or how many. How stingy could you be really? But maybe it's because they knew how tiny their tacos and quesadilla is.
We ordered 6 tacos, a quesadilla, and 2 canned Dr. Peppers. Total = $34.89
This is TRULY UPSETTING THAT I WASTED MONEY ON THIS PLACE.

In addition, You can go to the drive thru but you have to order at the window and they direct you to park in the stalls to the right against the wall, which is ridiculous because everyone has a hard time backing out of the stalls, because they back out into the drive thru line. There's no space! If they had an intercom installed they wouldn't have to go through this madness.

I got stomach flu after eating at the one on Palm Ave. The quality of the tacos keeps going down, and they are pricey.

Amazing food, try the mulas. Friendly staff, they speak English and Spanish…. Most of the time. So brush up on that Spanish and enjoy.

Overpriced, long-wait, disorganized, condescending, dirty, and disgusting had to throw the food. Never again.

I've never had better street style adobada tacos. EVER. This place is well known and well loved. You have to try it. We talk about this place almost every time we are trying good tacos anywhere else.

Those with Roast and head are delicious, the tripe was very golden like pork rinds and the tortilla for those with head and tripe is a bit hard.

This place has an open air atmosphere with Tijuana taco shop vibes. With three lines to order different things, fresh food made to order, and indoor and outdoor seating.

The food is phenomenal. You can really tell it's made fresh. The prices are mid, but they are worth every dollar when you consider higher quality and how filling it is.

They have loads of drive thru parking spaces so you're not sitting with your car on, waiting for your fresh food.

The parking lot situation is not so bad with about 10-15 parking spaces located in the back of the shop.

Bathrooms are out back so just ask to use them.

Best tacos I’ve ever had! I ordered beef and beef tongue. Menu is in Spanish. We don’t speak Spanish so we just tell them we want beef and beef tongue lol
