Tacos El Guero, San Diego CA

I did not give them a 1 star because of this place was my favorite. This place has fallen off. The food quality and salsas and freshness and them raising their prices was the icing on top. I am so disappointed with this place as I had been going here for 6 years and I am a Local. They took away the chips fried onions. They started charging for the Escabeche carrots and jalapeños. I know inflation is a factor but come on why does the quality need to go down. Sadly I wont be eating here anymore.

Ordered a torta all that it had was the meat and guacamole, nothing on we ordered had flavor. The service was also bad.

Took my wife here because she was craving tacos al vapor. What we received (pic included) was essentially a wet enchilada with vapor (meat?). This is quite literally a "I'm drunk at 2 in the morning and need goyslop" spot. Not at all good food, truly a humbling experience, for my wife atleast. But hey, they gave us free chips, so there's that.

The salsa was watered downed and the guacamole was brown. Gross never ordering from Uber eats again

Very pleasant restaurant. The service was fast and good. The torta niurca was bigger then expected, very delicious. The tortilla chips where also delicious.

Wanted an Horchata and they were out at the store next door so popped in here. Realized I got charged $4.00 for a medium horchata, which seems crazy, even though I did notice their food prices seemed a bit high for San Ysidro, so came to look at the menu. $1.99. So.wondering what's up with that $4.00 charge on my card. Not happy.

I totally recommend the lengua tacos. Also Adobada. They are delicious and they are prices the same. Not like in other places where lengua tacos are doubled.

I have been a customer of this lixation for over 13 years! The food is really good. This place used to be the go to spot. We used to eat there weekly, then bi-weekly. Then monthly, but now, I'm not sure if I'll ever go again.not because of their food but because it's way over priced now! I understand that the cost of goods are rising but their prices have slowly increased for over 10 years. Today, I purchased; 2 orders of 5 rolled tacos, 1 - torta and 1 California burrito, so my total was $43. That same order used to be less than $30.

Really good food, prices are pretty decent, quick service, and the guy at the cashier kept calling me "Padre". "que va a querer padre? ". "claro que si padre". Hahaha.too funny.

Great food, super friendly service and fast. Tacos de adobada are the bomb and so are the tacos de papa give them a try.
