Awesome views, good installation but no excellent, and definitely needs AC in the room for summer.

Early checkin was available -I was underwhelmed with age of the place although my room was clean and tidy.
Partial view was disappointing as most of view faced dead ended street with homes that could see into my room. Woken early morning to Very noisy garbage dumpster. The view of the beach that we captured from the patio was nice. Patio furniture cushions worn feeling the ribs of the metal chair / mind you I am lightweight (120 lbs)
Biggest issue was that I left 2 brand new bathing suits when I checked out, still with store labels in top drawer (never worn) -
Of course I called the front desk to request they find them- while they were polite they were not overly helpful
Was told that unfortunately nothing was put in their lost and found, that the new guests have checked in, AND they would NOT (it’s not their policy) to disturb their new guest and that they would check the ROOM AFTER the guest checked out in another 48 hrs.
Sorry but I don’t feel that is good customer service-even if their tone is polite.
I was polite too.
Fast forward, after 3 calls and speaking to mgr, I did get a final call AFTER 48 hrs, AND guess what?
No surprises here…… they didn’t find my clothing articles.
They need to change their policy - not happy with the outcome - Obvious someone wasn’t an honest Joe!
Hope they enjoy my taste in bathing suits!

CONS
Very Slow WiFi…very.
Heat is super drying (fireplace)
Bed is too smooshy
Not enough light in the room. With all lights on it was still very dark.
Place is old and floors creak and it sounds like people are bowling upstairs and the plumbing sounds like there is a thunderstorm
Don’t stay next to the elevator because you will be miserable
Very low toilet - reminds me of ones elementary school. Not good for elderly.
Water takes a long time to heat up…I hate wasting water.
Balcony is just splintering plywood
No AC
All in all, this place needs love and attention and it’s not getting it. An upgrade is long overdue.
Hope you don’t need the shared microwave during the later evening hours because no one is working
Community microwave…hope you don’t need to heat anything up after 10PM.

PROS
Fireplace is a nice touch (but is super drying)
Balcony facing the lake (mostly private but you can still hear everything and everyone)
Staff is very nice and very accommodating
Fantastic water pressure in shower - will blow you away

We stayed in room 301. Queen bed. I would NOT recommend this room. Being next to the elevator sounded like people were bowling all day and night.

Best deal given the location with private beach access, heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, etc. Just minutes from Stateline.

The location is fantastic. We walked right out of our patio onto the beach. We booked a 1 bedroom condo on the first floor for 5 nights. I could have stayed forever. The condo was spacious, well stocked, sparkling clean and the bed was super comfy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. For the money, this was a great value. You would be hard pressed to find another property with a private beach for this price. Next time I visit Tahoe, I will skip searching for other properties and just book this place again. Highly recommended.

Fabulous location, with amazing views from every room. Kids loved the pool; The staff is also very helpful; the rooms are nice, though the bathrooms are not updated. But the big balcony is so amazing. Overall, enjoyed our visit tremendously and would consider returning;

Super rude service, their room doesn’t have shampoo or anything. Also rooms smells so bad. Also extra charge for cleaning too.

Receptionist very rude and disrespectful. They’ve to do more how to be professional how to speak to their guests, anyone reads this review keep it mind, very unprofessional.

Horrible customer service! I have never experienced this type of treatment at a hotel in my entire life. The manager Lisa did not have a mask on when she was arguing with me over a personal disability that I use a service dog for. This hotel discriminates against any disability that involves a registered service dog! Rooms are outdated and dirty so I’m not sure why a service dog who is well behaved would not be allowed. I do not recommend this hotel!

ACCOMMODATING STAFF. PERFECT LOCATION ON THE WATER W/ A PRIVATE BEACH. I HAD THE 2ND TO THE LARGEST CONDO THEY HAD. 1 BED TOWNHOMEW/ LARGE FULL KITCHEN OPEN TO THE LIVING ROOM WHICH WAS LARGE AS WELL. A WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE SAT AT THE FAR END OF THE ROOM RIGHT NEXT TO THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR THAT OPENED TO THE UNITS PRIVATE PATIO WITH THE BEACH JUST BEYOND THAT.
GREAT VIEW OF THE LAKE ONLY WAY IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IS IF I WERE ON THE 2ND FLOOR. WHILE THE PROPERTY IS DATED (HASNT SEEN MUCH OF A REMODELSINCE 1987 ID SAY) IT IS CLEAN AND A GOOD VALUE. NEXT DOOR AT LAKELAND VILLAGE I PAID 675$ A NIGHT FOR A UNIT THAT WAS A MIRROR IMAGE TO THIS ONE WHERE I SPENT HALF THAT ON A FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
JUST WHAT ONE WOULD WANT FOR A VISIT TO THE LAKE.

Beautiful hotel on the beach! I booked a stay here very last minute and the night audit, Anastasia, was amazingly accommodating! She was so kind and and welcoming exactly what I needed after a long day. She helped me get the room type that I wanted and gave me helpful options for breakfast! Fantastic service! Then when I got up to the room I was even more amazed! This hotel does a great job making a simple cabin style look elegant and comfortable for anyone. I had a side view with a cute tiny bath tub perfect for one. The balcony was lit by the moon light with just enough of a view of the lake. If I have family or friends visit I will absolutely tell them to stay here! Loved it!

Great service and workers. Facilities could be a little nicer but the entire experience was laid back and plenty of fun.

My room accessed the beach from my patio door. Various restaurants and CVS is within walking distance

Good price, phenominal view and friendly staff. The building is showing its' age but other than that it is fantastic. Will be returning.

Excellent accommodations at this South Lake Tahoe lodge along the south shore of Lake Tahoe. Lodge word is synonymous with wood structure that fits very well with this simple, clean and well situated lodge. Great views from every room from this single loaded corridor lodge. The lake view constantly keeps changing as the sun reflects the water from various angles. Views at dusk and dawn are spectacular as well.

Honestly if you don’t stay here when you go to Tahoe, then your missing out, the view from the lodge is spectacular

Beautiful views. Located directly on the beach. Centrally located. Friendly and helpful staff. Full kitchens stocked with plateware and flatware. Glass protected balconies instead of metal bars for improved visibility while sitting.

Horrible filthy place. Peelong paint all over the rusted rails. Beach front sand dirty. Just horrhorr

This place is amazing the staff Kevin C and Beth Phenomenal. Omg you couldn't ask for better friendly, careing Considering staff. Kevin C went over and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic. He was very informational about things to do and see. I would stay here every year.
