Tahoe Tastings, South Lake Tahoe CA

My friends and I did this for my bachelorette and we had the BEST time. It was intimate even though there was another group on the boat. The views can not be beat either!

Took a wine tour for a bachelorette party and it was an absolute delight! Lexi and Gabe were fantastic and knowledgeable about the wines and the area. Best decision of our trip! 10/10 recommend!

Everything about this was fabulous! The owners thoughtfully texted to push our departure time up due to weather to ensure we had the best experience. The boat is great, the wines were great and poured for each person in our party at their own pace so no one felt rushed. The ride was smooth, the wine delicious and it was great to hear some stories about the area from a local. Can't say enough good things about this - definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

From the welcome onboard to disembarking, the experience is exceptional. Lexi is attentive, knowledgeable and engaging. Her passion for wines is evident as is her infectious personality. Tasting 8 different high quality varietals paired with a nice charcuterie is the way to go. Captain Mike is clearly competent on the water, and his historical insight of Emerald Bay is enlightening. He showed his true skill when navigating the Golden Rose into port. This wonderful wooden Chris Craft is perfect for a small group, (8-16 passengers), much more intimate than the other larger tour offerings. We HIGHLY recommend Tahoe Tastings, D & B, Roswell, GA

Beautiful scenery and boat. Glad we did not get the food. Not really charcuterie boards so to speak. We loved our first wine so much we bought a bottle. When we told them it did NOT taste at all like what we had they explained the glasses we had were out of a bottle they had opened the night before from the sunset cruise. First of all who serves LEFTOVER wine at a tasting? 2nd of all they did not cork it properly to take with us and it leaked so glad it wasn't a red. We left in the fridge overnight next day tasted just as off. No way it was the same one. Definitely still in awe we got leftover wine. Go for the scenery not the wine.

This was a fun experience to have while visiting South Lake Tahoe. The wines were great and our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Our let down was that it was marketed as a “sunset” cruise. While it is not the perfect spot for a sunset on the lake there was no attempt to move away from Emerald Bay so that more of the sunset could be seen. This was disappointing.

Great experience to taste some excellent wines while on the water! If you like wine, views or being on a boat you should go!

The best place to do wine tasting! Nice wines, beautiful views, and a knowledgeable crew. We're planning on coming back next year.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. I booked this tasting kinda last minute and on a whim for a surprise for my best friend during her bachelorette party here in Tahoe. I just have to say I have never experienced customer service like this anywhere else. Not only were they accommodating and super sweet but my friend, the bride had dropped her coozie in the parking lot that one of the other bridesmaids had boughten on for her in the store (clearly the wine was great). They found it after we left and texted us and offered to bring it to our Airbnb! WOW! Talk about going going above and beyond for your customers. The 2 hour boat ride was just breathtaking, seeing emerald bay on the water and learning the history while drinking wine was quite an experience. Can’t wait to come back! Already planning our next trip! Thank you for an amazing time.
