Tahoe Via Ferrata, Olympic Valley CA

We did the 3 hour Via Ferrata tour. Tim was our guide. He was excellent! He helped to guide us through the course and took some amazing pictures along the way. He coached me through some challenging parts and made me feel comfortable on the course. Very knowledgeable and friendly company. Highly recommend!

This was my first Via Ferrara and I am 68 yrs old. I did it with my daughter in October- which was perfect weather! We did the 3 hour and it did not disappoint. I was really nervous but Dustin, our guide, was the perfect person to have. Although he shared all the correct things to do and how to do them, he kept everything light and easy. I always felt like, “You got this! ”

Mike was our guide on a 3 hour tour and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Tim welcomed us right away upon arrival. A lot of fun climbing the stairs all the way up! Thanks for a great experience!

So much fun! It's only 800' of climb. I didn't want it to stop, but we ran out of rock. Oh well.

This was super fun! Our group of 4 did the 3 hour tour with Mike and he was helpful and patient. The weather was perfect and the views from up there were awesome! Mike took tons of really great pictures of us all along the trip and gave them to us once we finished.

The website doesn't do this trip justice. It's much more challenging than you think. I'm 51 yo expecting to do something that kids can do, so my friends and I signed up for the 4-hour tour. If you are fit, this excursion will be a fun workout. If you are active, but don't normally work your upper body, expect a REALLY good workout. If you are afraid of heights, think hard before doing this because although safe, it will be much more of a mental challenge than physical challenge. Do I recommend this activity? ABSOLUTELY! And ask for Liam. He is a great guide and human.

Amazing experience! We signed up for a 4 hour tour. Our guide Isaac was super knowledgeable, patient and professional. We didn’t hike too far up before start climbing the mountain. The whole system is designed very robust and safe. It was FUN. We cross 3 bridges and climbed all over the mountain. Isaac even took photos for us throughout the tour. It really didn’t feel like 4 hours. At the end, we hiked down a bit before shuttled down to the shop. Highly recommended!

This company rocks! Seriously- We had such a great time with our guide Mike! We loved every minute of this adventure. I highly suggest this trip to anyone feeling adventurous!

Beautiful late summer day up on the mountain with 3 teenage girls. Mom was sick so I took my two daughters and one of their friends up with the guilde and had a great time. Some stretches are nearly vertical and tough but not too strenuous after taking short breaks. Other than the email saying the meeting spot was out in front of the funitel, when actually the table wasn't set up, so they had to call and find us, we had a great time! Would do it again.

Our group of 7 (with a wide age and skill range) had a great time on the mountain with Tim and JC. They were knowledgeable, helpful guides and we all felt safe the whole time. The course was fun and challenging but not too physically demanding.

I took a 4h tour with 2 other guests. Our guide Tim M.was great and explained how everything works upfront, and made sure we were all confident to get through the terrain (traverses, steep uphill ladders, one rope bridge at the very beginning). Some of it was definitely outside of my personal comfort zone but with Tim’s help we all made it. We all had a good time.

Tim and JC led my family on a great Via Ferrara tour. It was our first time trying Via Ferrara and they led us through an awesome route. They had plenty of knowledge about the area and the sport of Via Ferrara itself. Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time at Tahoe Via on a 4hr tour earlier this month (Aug 2023). Our guide Trevor is excellent. The view is amazing and the via ferrata is tons of fun.
