Tai Ping Sa Choi Kee reviews
9I can only say that I bought an extra serving of beef offal rice noodles for 13 yuan. I just ordered beef offal and the portion was too small.
Our favorite go-to Cantonese restaurant! The food tastes homemade, consistently good, and service always comes with a smile.
We have been loyal patrons from when they were still in Hong Kong Plaza in Rowland Heights, and glad they reopened in Hacienda Heights.
Our favorites include their Traditional Poached Chicken, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Claypot Rice and Sweet and Sour Pork. All are excellent!
Wonton noodles: wonton better than noodles
Chicken noodles: chicken good and fresh
Beef brisket noodles good
The beef brisket noodle perfectly balancing the tangy and beef flavors that are synonymous with Cantonese cuisine. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite.
Opting for the half chicken dish, we were treated to a delightful presentation enhanced by the aromatic blend of ginger and scallions. The tender chicken skin, which effortlessly melted in our mouths, served as a hallmark of authentic Cantonese culinary expertise. Additionally, the clay pot rice with ribs showcased impeccable timing in its preparation, delivering a perfect balance of crispy and crunchy rice burns.
Tai Ping Sa Choi Kee is a rare gem that manages to seamlessly blend exemplary service with an unwavering commitment to authenticity. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience that transports you to the vibrant streets of Canton with every mouthful. It is an absolute must-visit.
We moved to a new store, but we have to wait for more than half an hour. It’s very confusing. Don’t come!
Super low key place in the back of this plaza. Legit HK flavors and balanced flavor. Really good food for the price despite what others say about the beef offals being overpriced (hint: get the noodle dish that comes with it)
I’m native Cantonese, live in Guangzhou 20rs, and I am highly recommend this restaurant, if you’re looking for traditional Cantonese cuisine.
Authentic Cantonese-style dishes!
Recommended are Shrimp wonton noodle, clay pot chicken on rice, and their vegetables. Considering good prices for the dishes, except don’t expect too much of the dish presentation. They had switched everything to disposable plastics since pandemic. The location is randomly “inside” an empty plaza: next to HK2 (on Colima Rd).
