Taiko Sushi reviews
18The worst place ever! The waitress doesn’t even look at me or poured water once into my glass! We ordered 2 appetisers and it took 15 to 20min to just bring one adamame out! The people before us were already eating their main dish (we ordered the same noodle dish) Bust still! After an hour! Our noodle dish was not brought in! The foods are so little and don’t match the price AT ALL! I wanted to rate 0 if I could!
It's very deep in milagro Center; you won't see it from the street. Yet it's worth a parking-lot cruise, a park, and a venture in. You'll be rewarded by a small, casual Japanese fusion restaurant serving attractive, delicious food in pleasant surroundings at reasonable prices.
Their menu is extensive, with much variety in their sushi rolls. Other appetizers and entrees are also on the menu.
In addition to this location in Carmichael, they also have locations in Natomas and Folsom.
Taiko Sushi will not disappoint you.
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the food and the atmosphere great place to eat.
The environment makes for a great casual date night. The service was friendly, atmosphere is interesting with all the different businesses under the same roof. The prices were OK, the cleanliness was OK the sushi in the Bento box that I had seemed to be a little less than fresh, but it was OK. Nothing distinctly bad to say, but also nothing distinctly great to say about it.
I’m sorry to give a low rating, but the sushi here was very bad. The spicy garlic edamame was great, but the sushi was on par with a grocery store— did not taste fresh at all and the sushi-rice ratio was unacceptable.
Such a nice sushi restaurant! Nice and cool environment. I came for lunch and had a couple of delicious rolls. Fast and friendly service.
I used to love this place when I found them. I come there pretty frequently, usually. Well lately I’ve been getting take out orders. Must admit that quality of food in restaurant compared to take out is completely different. Two days in a row, sushi rice was undercooked. Today ordered my favorite roll, and it’s falling apart because it wasn’t cut properly. If I wanted a poke bowl I’d get just that. Take out quality speaks volumes, so hate to say that but this may be the last time I’ll be eating from there.
Great little spot with awesome staff! I had the salmon and avocado roll and the samurai roll. Both rolls were excellent. Samurai roll had great sauce and the fish was fresh and delicious.
This is a great spot for sushi! Normally there's no wait, and quick service. They also have a good amount of vegetarian roll options.
This place has amazing sushi! Staff is friendly, AND take a look at my pics! Go, see what I’m talking about!
Ordered the fishing boat. Great deal $50 for 3 different sashimi (2 each) and 3 specialty rolls. 1. Lion King 2. Red Dragon 3. Don San. Everything was delicious besides the miso soup, Tofu tasted weird in it. Service was a bit slow, but servers were incredibly friendly and nice. Everything we asked for was brought without any issues. Definitely a great sushi place. Will be back to try other rolls!
Sushi is probably the best sushi in the Carmichael area. Personalable service and friendly staff. Rocky roll is an instant classic and the Ursula roll is for the adventurous. If I could give them 6 stars I would.
Such friendly service and great food for a great price. I have been to some disappointing sushi spots lately but this place was delicious and good quality with hearty portions
First time here and it was amazing. In a incredibly fun space with shared areas for each business. Service was great as my wife and I sat at the sushi bar. We got a fishing boat (3 rolls and sashimi.) The fish is fresh, definitely not frozen. Highly recommend for a relaxing experience.
Do it yourself poke bowls! Delicious. I eat here a couple times a week. Hot sake, beer and wine.
Great selection of traditional Japanese sashimi, rolls, etc.
Always very friendly, delicious sushi! Our old favorite sushi place closed and we tried many places before landing on this place as our new favorite. They are great for both dine-in and take home orders.
We love this place. They have delicious sushi and sides. Spring for the fancier rolls -they're worth it! The atmosphere is a little sports bar-ish, but they have neat art. The staff are always friendly and efficient.
