Got a fade here a while ago. It was mostly a good fade and decent conversation, but he took way too much off the back. When I asked to take the fade up a notch to fix the overall look, because he really did not read the shape of my head well, the guy refused saying he followed the reference pictures I showed him. He kept saying that as if I should’ve been like “oh ok then. ” He also said he squeezed me in last minute and there was a “regular customer” waiting in line. I could’ve gone to 10 other barbershops, I didn’t ask you to squeeze me in for your own profit. Even if he did follow the reference photos, which he didn’t, is it really acceptable to let your customers walk out with a haircut they consider bad? A bad haircut is worse than a lot of things in life, and guarantees that I won’t come back. An extra 10 minutes would’ve made me leave with a smile on my face. Instead, I left no tip and wrote a bad review. Couldn’t have been the desired outcome. I’ve never been refused that courtesy in any barbershop. People who have integrity in their work won’t have you walk out with a haircut you don’t like. It’s especially dumb, because I mentioned I just moved to SF and am looking for a regular spot. Don’t know the name of the dude. But, if the owner is interested in finding out, considering he cost the place a potential “regular, ” let me know and I’ll describe him.

The man is persistent, professional and reliable. Sherman has an eye for perfection and it really shows in the final product of his work/cuts.

He takes his craft very serious. Generally by appointment only. He will have you feeling like a million bucks by the time you leave that barber chair

Very professional and takes a simple haircut into an art. I like that they take their time and re evaluate their own work before they officially finish.
