Server was nice and attentive. Had the claypot eel rice and crispy rice at the bottom was great. Also great it’s open late.

Excellent cuisine and authentic, I was the only non Asian in there. Shared a table with some people from Taishan and they said the food here was better than when they lived there in china. I had the yellow eel fried rice, potato leaf vegetable, winter Mellon buns, and fish head soup…. All amazing and very different from any other province’s cuisine in SF. Not fake Chinese like Nanking down the street, this is authentic. It was interesting to try an authentic Canton place for once, did not disappoint. I’ll go back again. There are many treats on this menu.

Delicious food and cuisine, just as it says in their name.definitely not what an average american's idea of "chinese restaurant" is, but hopefully there's more like these soon.the lamb stew was amazing.come here for fresh and natural-tasting food with perfectly paired savory sauces and seasonings.varies by item, so order the level youre looking for, and know its fresh real food so double good after a workout.tastes like its made at home, and i even found some ginger and star anise in my lamb stew, and from that if you know you know.definitely coming back

A very specific regional style of cooking, a good option for the adventurous seeking to veer away from the standards found in Chinese American cooking.

Spicy Fish in Chili Oil was unlike the Sichuan version — having almost a medicinal flavor and a crunchy texture of fish. Definitely an acquired taste and feel. Salt and Oil Sautéed String Beans, however, were savoury and yummy.

Great for late night, open till 3am.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Taishan Cuisine, an authentic Taishan food restaurant. The moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor was simple yet elegant, with traditional Chinese elements that added to the charm of the place.

I ordered the five-flavor goose, which was a signature dish of the restaurant. And I have to say, it was beyond amazing. The meat was so juicy and flavorful, and the goose skin was perfectly soft and fatty. It was one of the best goose dishes I've ever had.

I also ordered the yellow eel clay pot, which was equally impressive. The yellow eel was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the sticky rice on the bottom of the pot was crispy and added a great texture to the dish.

The service was also excellent. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed throughout the meal. They were also knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations.

Overall, I would highly recommend Taishan Cuisine to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Chinese food. The quality of the food and the attention to detail really made this dining experience stand out for me.

Literally one of the only places we eat out at nowadays. I love this place so much. The clay pot rice is outright dreamy, and I'm pretty sure my mom dreams about it. She says it's just like it was in China. The kids all love coming here too, and you can just tell it's a family run business, very homey. I love it!

We randomly stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was very clean and quite big. Every table has an induction stove because they offer hotpot where you buy stuff ala carte. We didn’t get it but it seemed great for large groups or couples who wanted soup on top of their other menu offerings.

We ordered the noodles with shrimp, deep fried pork chop, and pan fried noodles. Everything tasted delicious, but we especially loved the dry noodles. Make sure to ask for some chili oil. Oh, they also offer free tea.

Food was served fresh and quickly. They’re also attentive to their guests’ needs.

I live so close to this place and it's always crowded so I'm trying it for the first time and I ordered the first thing on the menu which is a noodle special. It was mostly just noodles no meat really.

Opens late, food not bad. But the elder owners are not pleasant people. The young lady is friendly. Bathroom is dirty as hell

The eel clay pot rice is tasty however not much better than the same dish in Blue Sky restaurant which offers much better price.

WowoW the food was amazing! It was not your typical oily chinese food. The food was clean and fresh, tasted great and each dish was large enough to share between the 3 ppl, ordering only vegetarian. I almost passed it by after looking in the window but don’t!

2023.01.13 Taisan Cuisine has goose $28 which I haven't seen for years. But the flavor was a simple sauce on the sweet side, and it was overcooked. Wonton soup was also alright, decent, but nothing to rave over, the same goes for the pan fried pork buns with more dough than pork meat filling. Most of it's customers are Chinese, acceptable but it's nothing particularly special coming here as I had hoped for a better taste experience. Credit cards accepted.

Awesome spot for late night eats! They open until 3AM!

I think we probably came around 2: 30AM or so. The place was packed with folks eating inside.

We ordered the century egg porridge, house special fried rice, and string beans. Portions are large. Each dish is on the higher end, but in my opinion, I think the value is still there.

Brought the food back to the hotel and ate, and it was still piping hot. Definitely appreciate hot food on a cold night!

Street parking only.

This spot is definitely good for your Chinese food eats!
