Tamales House, Reseda CA

Picked up 3 dozen Tamales, rice and beans for new Year's Eve. Delicious and plenty of meat in both beef and chicken! Best ever! Love this particular location - they are always super friendly, helpful and bless their hearts, always apologize if you end up waiting a little longer. These people work their butts off so don't forget to leave a generous tip as their food is priced reasonably AND is delicious!

This food was so delicious and very positively received at a recent party that my family hosted.

WORST SERVICE EVER! Come here when you’re NOT hungry. We waited 1 HOUR and a half for our food. And when it was our turn to get our food, they didn’t have the ingredients to make our meals. NEVERRRRR COMING BACK.

The Tamale House is a bit of a drive for me but more than worth it. I placed an order to go for Chicken, Pork and Cheese and jalapeño tamales. But when I arrived I could not resist ordering the #4 to eat on the spot. Chili Rienos, Cheese and Jalapeño Tamale with rice and beans. Words cannot describe the delicious plate in front of me. The restaurant if full of others either picking up orders or eating at the clean tables.

Didn't get what I have ordered. This is the second time that happened to me.
So recommend customer to check your order before leaving Tamales House.

Personally I think they are overpriced. The tamales has a weird flavor, the texture seems as if it weren’t to be steamed, it would dry tamales. It does have a lot of meat and salsa which I give it it’s pros.

I pre ordered my tamales and was very specific on what I ordered, but when I picked them up and took them home, realized they gave me the wrong order. Ruined my Thanskgiving.so disapointed

I bought a few tamales to test out for Christmas. They were very good and even after three days still tasted good. We will be back for more!

Very good, big and moist tamales. Salsas hit the spot. The price is a little to high for a tamale.

Tamales are very good. Every time I get tamales and I ask for salsa, the girl cashier is so rude. I even offer to pay for the salsas and she still gave me attitude.

Very stingy people I bought one dozen tamales and they only gave me 3 oz of salsa really bad service will not come back again and the tamales were really dry hardly any meat. 39.00 of old tamales.

The food is great! The customer service is not because they know that their tamales are good so they don’t need to be nice, take it or leave it kind of an attitude?

Absolutely delicious! Wasn't sure at first if these tamales would be as yummy as the extra authentic ones sold from street carts, but they were definitely just as good! We couldn't find any carts in 95° weather, but we're glad we stumbled on this place. We got pork, chicken, beef, jalapenos and cheese, strawberry and cream cheese, and an horchata, which were all delicious and well-priced. I had never been a fan of sweet tamales but I think I'm a convert! The green salsa was very lime-y and wasn't spicy at all but it paired perfectly with the tamales. Would definitely come here again!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these tamales best ones I've ever had and I love that they are HUGE they AREN'T the average size tamale they are like 2 or 3 in 1 my favorite ones are the chicken and pork. Also their horchata is also AMAZINGLY DELICOUS

This place makes the absolutely best authenic tamales and mexican food. Home made beans (not canned) and all their food is fresh and delicious.
I order every year for the holidays. Order early, this family owned and run restaurant geys BUSY!

Horrible service, they can’t even get an order right, they end up charging you for the tamales and then they don’t give you them. ‍️
