Tamales Lilianas reviews
28Only downside is this place isn't big enough so it can get pretty packed pretty fast. But the food is worth the wait! Great Mexican good
I've never been disappointed with thus places. The food is always delicious! Tamales are amazing! My favorite thing is the Caldo de Pollo
I like coming here, the food is good. Unfortunately, lately service has not been so good. They took a long time to bring us a menu, there was only one table with customers and us. Took another long time to bring our food, didn't even come around to check on us, to see if we needed anything else. What a bummer!
I always thought this place was okay, but today, I ordered the Caldo de Camarón and it tasted weird. I thought it was some type of flavoring until I ate probably the 6th shrimp and I realized that’s what it was. By that time, I had eaten a lot. An hour later, it hit me. I’ll never eat there again.
Food is okay. Tamales are great.but make sure you
Bring cash or else they charge you 4% on top of your bill if you use your debit or credit card. (which sucks!)
Yummy, must do when in LA. Took 2 dozen cheese and chili pepper Tamales home to Hawaii. You know its good when the police and firemen eat here.
Once great they seem to have lost their own recipes! The masa was dry and they had skimpy filling. We keep going back to La Mascots.
Lillian's is thee best Mexican Restaurant to me, every single dish is delicious, you cannot make a mistake ordering anything there.
The food is always good. We have ordered red and green pork tamales, as well as cheese, which I prefer. I got chicken enchiladas which were good but I would have liked some cheese in the enchilada. We also ordered red chilaquiles with steak and ham and eggs scrambled. Overall the service is good but it does take a while to get seated if there are a lot of people.
Tasty tamales and quick service; glad it wasn't busy when I got there (first thing in the morning; right when they opened)
Very slow service, servers do not pay attention to order details. I Also ordered tamales togo, We had very bad experiece, the tamales were very dried and old. I do not recomend.
Amazing food. Juat like home cooking. Can't go wrong with the pozole, tamales and cant forget about the flan.
East LA staple. Great food and classic dishes. You can order anything off the menue and will not be disappointed
For the price they charge for such small portions, and they have the nerve to charge you extra for sour cream, or any extra stuff is needed for extra flavor
The food is really tasty, well seasoned, I had the enchiladas verdes de pollo, they come with rice and beans a small side of salad.
I like this place the food is great the only. Problem is the parking really sucks sometimes you have to wait like 20 minutes for someone to leave and the street parking is just as bad
Authentic Mexican food. Excellent. Good prices. The place is medium sized so go during off peak times or you'll wait in line.
The food is great! The service is good and the price is right. The parking is small and it is very popular in the weekends so prepare ahead of time
Best Tamales in Los Angeles and they have Jalisco style flanes like CHOCOFLAN, it’s hard to find food with El sazón Jaliciense, big difference from those salvadorian made fake Mexican tamales that are super gross
