Tamales Mana reviews
14The times I’ve gone to Mana a nice man approaches and helps you respectfully but a few times a lady is there and she’s really rude to people. She wasn’t rude to me but she was rude to the other people who were next in line. She has no patience to serve the customer. She looks like the owner but be more respectful to your customers. If you want authentic tamales every morning there’s a man who sells them in front of the LOLAs on Petaluma Hill rd and people they’re fire!
I was actually going to the Asian Market next door, when I saw Tamales Mana and decided to give them a try. I got the Jalapeno Cheese and Red Chili Pork, because I was told they were the spiciest ones. The tamales were very well made. The only reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because of the lack of spice. For those who like milder food, they'll love this place. The red salsa that came with the tamales lacked heat and could use more salt.
The gentleman argued about giving me salsa I purchased 54 Tamales he gave me salsa for 20 Tamales he couldn't give me more because he said when you buy more Tamales you get less salsa doesn't make sense to me because when you purchase 2 Tamales you get 1 salsa so I would have been happy to receive 26 salsas I felt cheated not coming back anymore rude.
They were so good. I had been hunting some tamales since new years. I got rice and beans on the sides, yumm! The price was perfect also.
This place is the most delicious place to geg Tamales! The bean one prepared and all the other flavors are so GOOD! I love the customer service here and definitely plan on going back soon!
Best Tamales ever. Lots of different flavors/fillings, and inexpensive. Try to arrive earlier in the day for more selection.
Tamales are hella fire great staff tamales are not dry whatsoever great salsa 10/10 recommend
Tried the Pollo Verde, Rojo, and the cheese jalapeño. All were great. Masa is very flavorful and filled nicely. Awesome salsa too for a good price. Sadly editing my review. At least 2 tamales are always undercooked.
Love this place. We go here every holiday season to pick up a few of every offering they have. The sweet tamales are good, our family likes the pineapple the best.
I bought 6 tamales and they only gave me 2 sauces, yes, only 2 one green and one red. The service is very bad and rude, in Sebastopol Rd. They are better and cheaper tamales in SR.
The chile verde tamales, are so delicious! Next time i going to tried the mole tamales! I love it!
Normally I love their tamales but I had a doordash order and the food was horrible! There was a green salsa on top of the rice. The beans tastes old (like expired) and they should have kept the tamales wrapped because they are sooo dry. I also ordered 3 crema and didn't get them or napkins or a fork. I hate it when I pay for food and don't even eat it because it's just that bad. Never order the combo. Wish I could get my money back.
By far the best tamales ever & always delicious with so many different kinds of tamales I can't believe that I didn't know about this place.
Also they sell them at Stony Point & Sebastopol Rd near Lola's Market. I've eaten tamales for 60+ years & they are by far the best Sooooo Good! They also open at 6am however closed on Sundays. I Highly recommend this establishment. Enjoy your Tamales.
The food is so good and the lady there is really nice. I ordered in Spanish so having the basics might help when ordering.
