Tambayan Filipino Eatery reviews
17They are always very friendly with good service and a quiet atmosphere. I love the lumpia and ube ice cream. The chicken adobo is great too!
Consistently great service and food! Our family always order the lumpia and barbecue. We tried the Lechon Belly for our Christmas party and loved it! It’s so good that we’ve ordered it again for our New Year’s eve Dinner! They were so awesome in accommodating our Lechon order today despite the short notice. Glad to find quality Filipino food in Santa Rosa, saving us the drive from Vallejo or SF!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tambayan Cuisine, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience from start to finish. The combination of exquisite food and a warm, friendly staff made this visit memorable.
The menu boasted a diverse range of dishes that catered to various palates. Each dish was not only visually appealing but also packed with flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The chefs at Tambayan Cuisine clearly take pride in their craft, as the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was impeccable.
What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The waitstaff was not only attentive but also well-versed in the menu, offering helpful recommendations based on my preferences. It's evident that they are passionate about ensuring guests have a positive dining experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, striking a perfect balance between modern elegance and a cozy atmosphere. The attention to detail, from the table settings to the decor, added to the overall charm.
I would highly recommend Tambayan Cuisine to anyone seeking a combination of delectable cuisine and outstanding service. Whether you're a food enthusiast or simply looking for a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family, Tambayan Cuisine exceeds expectations on all fronts. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
First time trying Filipino food and it did not disappoint! Food was fresh, flavorful and fantastic! The staff are very attentive and kind. Definitely will be back!
We were in California visiting our son. He suggested eating here and it was wonderful. The food was fabulous service was terrific. We definitely go back when we are there again at Christmas.
Delicious Filipino food! We had pork lumpia, tosilog, and chicken adobo. All amazing, and the service was super friendly. Would highly recommend a stop if you’re in the area.
Came with my Filipino mom and was very impressed with the food + how friendly the people at the restaurant were! Definitely recommend the mango vinegar salsa
Some food is a bit bland, but others are just okay. The people there are nice and accommodating though. Oh, there's a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card.
Food was ok. Nothing special. A little pricey. Service was pretty good. Ordered coffee after we ate. Asked for a refill only to find out they charge another $3 per cup? ! No thanks. Really disappointed that we can't enjoy a couple cups of mediocre coffee after a meal without getting gouged. My first and probably last visit. Might want to rethink that policy. Even a nominal $1 or something for another cup would be reasonable, but traditionally in the United States when you order regular coffee at a restaurant, you can get a refill. She was also pushing the desserts hard. And no REAL milk for the coffee, just toxic creamer.
Amazing food and very friendly. Everything I have tried is excellent. My favorite is the Tosilog which is grilled pork. INCREDIBLE!
Filipino Homecooking! Great choices of lumpia & pancit. Delicious desserts, especially halo-halo, and biko. Friendly service and did not wait long for food.
Husband and I enjoyed Tambayan last weekend. Under a new family and owners, the food has gotten even better. For starters, we shared lumpia Shanghai and tinolang manok. For mains, he had pork BBQ and sotanghon. And I had grilled bangus, tortang talong, and rice. We lingered through lunch to savor all the delicious flavors! For desert, the halo-halo was a treat. Servings were generous, ambiance casual, and service was friendly and attentive. We had such a good experience, we went back this weekend!
We tried this place for the first time and now we really like it. The owner is very nice, and was coming over to our table to ask and give recommendations.
We ordered lots of their meat dishes, appetizers, and dessert. Everything was delicious, but I do want to admit it was a little on the bland side. We could tell it needed more seasoning on the meat, and more sifar on the banana plantains.
I would definitely come back here to try it again!
We went just before Christmas. The same three songs were playing on repeat. I think I heard one single song, without exaggeration, six times while we were there.
Food was decent. I loved the lumpia (vegetable and chicken both). Calamari was pretty good, and it came as a big serving size. The adobo wasn't my favorite, and I won't likely get it again, but my friend liked it and also the sisig.
Service was unexceptional, but not rude or anything.
Probably will come back to give it another shot. Seems like a family owned place, and the lumpia is mouth-watering.
Omg hands down the best Filipino food in Sonoma county and only one the food is amazing it's my little taste of Tacoma just made me feel like I'm at home when I eat here so stop on by
Great food, fair price. Best Filipino food I've had in a long time, if ever.
Parking can be tight but you'll find a spot in the square.
Bathroom is outside and requires a key to enter.
Will be a forever return spot to meet my family whenever they are back in the area.
Wooow! My friends enjoyed it so much. Food soo delicious. We will coming back and try everything that on the menu.
