Tapioca Express reviews
17Great customer service, I come here every saturday night and see the same employees with happy energy! Love the mango snow bubble
Love me snow thi tea. It’s nice ppl with easy cosy spot. Love this vibes here. Always fresh food with nice feeling
Do not even deserve a one star. Receptionist is the worst. Not friendly at all. Had to ask her 3 times for how spicy is the pop corn chicken and she keep saying it’s behind me.
Longtime customer. But now this location is not as good as it used to be. I ordered a LARGE milk tea, but instead got a medium size. When I asked why medium! Assocaite said this is their large size as of now. I asked how I was charged $7: 25 per a medium drink. She replied that prices went up. This was not my first time I went there, but truely they ripped me off for charging me for a large drink and then served me with a medium cup. Will never go there again. Employees doesn't really care about their customers anymore. Young kids with no customer service skills.
This is a Shoosh establishment with an expansive floor plan coupled with a soothing and comforting ambience. The menu is full of fabulous entrées. The to-die-for Taiwanese popcorn chicken is a must try sustenance before you walked out! Finally, the decadent Boba drinks combined with their aphrodisiac waffles? Will make the day for those who have insatiable cravings for sweets. Shoooooosh!
Took my nieces to try their first ever boba drinks, was the most disappointing trip as we discovered as soon as we got home that was no jellies in them as ordered. I called to let them know that same moment but no one picked up. The next morning I called and the person told me to come back in and they’ll remake it as long as I bring in the receipt. I went in right now and had the most experience and unprofessional service with the big guy with glasses. He smirks with the other guy working with him then proceeds to tell him I owe him another $5 something for the drink they would remake (after I already spent $29.60 that first night my drinks were wrongly made) saying you had the drink without the boba, which I didn’t and told him how the girls never ate it and it was still in the freeZer. In shock, I walked out and called to get the name of the manager and who was helping me to which the rude guy on the phone replied saying that’s private information, after saying I want only a first name he said the guys name was Edward. Save yourself trouble and avoid getting badly made drinks, go to Boba time down the street. The time before Tapioca express made my drinks with big chunks of ice which weren’t blended at all, and I didn’t say anything. Horrible customer service. The guy told me to come in to remake my drinks and the register didn’t even honor it despite how much I spend there monthly.
Came here on 4/30/2021 at 8: 58PM, over a half hour before they close, and they were turning people away left and right because “the kitchen was closed”. We could only buy milk tea. How disappointing.
Been going to this location for at least 10years, it's the better of the 3 locations in my opinion. Best overall selections of drinks and drink combos. Best overall amount of food and snacks also. Never had a bad drink or bad food since I've started coming here. Great atmosphere and ample amount of seating but a small selection of outdoor seating.
BEWARE! The parking lot to the shopping center of where Tapioca Express is, it's tiny and always busy. I mean always! Be aware of that coming here. The parking lot is never not busy.
Overall goto TE (Tapioca Express) for great drinks and good food. Try the Taro Milk Tea or Snow bubble and you won't regret it.
Gave me a yucky chunky matcha tea and sassy pants attitude. The strawberry tea was good tho
Literally love this place so much, the boba is so good everytime and the drinks r chefs Kiss
Perfect. Masks required upon entrance. Sanitizing lotion station by the door. Physical distancing enforced. Great customer service. There was a total of 12 customers - each aware of the CDC guidelines.
Love their Latte SnowBubble! The food is fantastic too. Parking can be very challenging certain times of the day, but worth it (:
This is the best tapioca express in San Diego. Went to the others because they were closer to me but there really is no comparison. Rather drive father to get this one.
Good: Drinks good. Crispy chicken is 100% true to a Taiwan taste. Decently quick service. Wifi. Electrical outlets.
Not good: Parking is THE WORST. Occasionally the boba is not as great. Kinda dim inside for a dessert place.
Great customer service. Drinks are on point with many options for whatever you're into. The food is also really good.
Do not come here if you like boba. The drinks were next to tasteless, and the boba was cooked improperly.
I have always liked tapioca express since they first opened.wish they could find a way to bring back the chicken intestines though.that's the closest to exotic food they had made me feel like I was doing a bizarre food spin-off.anyways service is still good will go there again when i can spare some time.
