5This place is so near and dear to my heart! Best crispy chicken and bubble tea around! Been going to Tapioca Express for years like since 2008 at the old Irvine location and now here!
I hate saying this, but this was the worst boba I think I’ve ever had. Perhaps it was the time we came (close to 11am when they open at 10am), but I feel pretty confident the boba I was served was yesterday’s boba. Leaving two stars because the service was friendly and the milk tea itself was tasty. But I’d leave 0 stars on the tapioca boba.
My wife and I love coming to this place. The potstickers are great and I’ve never gotten a drink I didn’t like. Great vibe, and great place. Not sure what to get? Try a snow bubble.
One of my favorite places to grab boba and food! They have plenty of seating inside and are located in a plaza with other food options. I highly recommend their honeydew milk/slushy and their popcorn chicken! They are one of the few places that make their popcorn chicken extremely crispy and fry it with basil leaves. In addition, the honeydew drinks are made from fresh fruit, not powder. Remember to show your student ID on the weekdays for a discount!
This place has the best popcorn chicken with a thin and crispy crust and juicy meat. The addition of fried basil is the best part! The owner is such a kind man
