Taqueria Maya's reviews
15Good food and atmosphere. On sundays there is live music with mariachis. We order Pozole, Chiles Rellenos and Chilaquiles and it was delicious.
The food was very good but half an hour before my order came out and I only ordered a burrito and my lunch time was gone and it's not the first time it takes this long to deliver the orders
Absolutely love this spot, and visit with my friends every time I come back to Sacramento. The food is delicious, and the staff always make you feel super welcome.
It gets very busy here, especially on the weekends but with food this good you should expect that. There’s a great mariachi band as well that puts on a fantastic performance, especially their singer. Food just hits perfectly as well!
It seems like a hole in a wall with the best Mexican food ever. We loved it. My husband who never leaves reviews was saying how he was going to give 5 star. Definitely will be coming back and bringing friends
Ate the cheese enchilada, rice, and beans, as well as the crispy shredded beef tacos. Authentic and tasty food was served!
Every time I go to Sacramento I like to eat here but on this occasion I didn't like the food very much, I don't know if they changed the cook but it's not the same anymore, and one of the waiters was very rude to us, instead Manuel He was very kind as always, please treat the customer well so that we want to return.
It was very tasty, however the proteins were over cooked and dry. The young girl at the register tried hard but it started getting busy and she was clearly over run. The place had a very nice feel to it. I don't think I'll go back though. It could have been an off day, idk
The restaurant smells of bathroom deodorizer. Doesn’t go well with eating your meal.
Maybe if they kept their bathroom doors closed, it might help with the overwhelming scent of bathroom cleaner and deordorizer.
It's a great place for authentic mexican food, and it's definitely worth trying out every dish if you can. It's a little cramped, but that's not by choice.
Worst menudo ever, I couldn't stand the music that's was playing (reggaeton) reggaeton really? Tortillas were hard as rubber, also waiting time was looong and there was not a lot of customers, I do not recommend this place and I won't go there again seriously!
Employees friendly enough, dining area old deco. Bathroom in particular deplorable. Two stalls handicap stall clogged, other stall cannot close door when in use. No room door butts up against your knees. Sit sideways on stool
Yes, they take a little longer than other places, but it’s not an unreasonable wait, and it’s totally worth it! The chicken taco salad thing I got was VERY GOOD! Super filling, not overly done in anyway. We’ll go back for sure.
I give this place two stars solely because they actually serve some pretty decent Mexican food. But man, the service here is terrifying every single time. I would not spend my time and money here.
The salsa is okay. The micheladas came warm/flat tasted like tomato juice. We asked for Tecate for them originally and they said they didn't have any when it was literally in the fridge behind them. I couldn't even eat my burrito because even tho the menu didn't say there's rice in it.there was. (Other than the rice it was decent) I'd say this place is pretty pricey & less authentic than I was hoping. Huge disappointment.
