Taqueria Pinolera, Chico CA

Some of the BEST Mexican food I’ve had in California. The meat was tender, full of flavor, and generous in portions. Fast and friendly service and every customer had smiles on their faces. I definitely recommend this place to everyone thank you Taqueria Pinolera!

I call my order in and it's always hot and ready. I'm an early AM worker. Being able to get such a good breakfast burrito fast and easy is very helpful.

Food is great, they don't understand English. That will, so when you try to order something. In your American speaking, they don't understand or they make your order wrong. But the owners there, she'll take your order and get it right.

The food came out fast and it was delicious. I will definitely come back if I am in the area.

For years, I’ve been searching Chico for the best breakfast burrito. To date, Taqueria Pinolera holds the honor. Burritos are hefty, but their prices are not. Staff is friendly. I only wish they answered their phone more consistently.

I go here all the time an the main lady always has the worst attitude towards me I thought maybe a bad day but no its every single time. An when I ask for no beans she makes my 12 dollar burrito small as she can. I highly recommend eating elsewhere for better polite service with better portions even when an item isn't wanted.

10/10 Authentic Mexican food. All options all day. Small parking lot but thats the only downside. If you haven't tried it you're missing out.

I only have had breakfast there but the burritos are delicious and so is the chile Relleno.

I was so surprised! This little gem is fantastic! It's hard to find a vegetarian burrito with flavor, but this place nailed it! It was just right amount of spice and flavor. The horchata was great as well. I wish I lived in Chico so I could go here more often.

The service was quick and friendly. The bathroom was perfectly clean. If you need a quick bite and are craving Mexican this is the place to go!

Ordered breakfast burritos for the crew at work. I watched them making them and everything was homemade. She poured the rice and beans out of a large frying pan. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican food!

I would give this place a 0 if I could. My first breakfast burrito, sausage and bacon was COVERED in oil! It was so bad to the point were it leaked out of the bag and got all over my car and hands! Disgusting! Then I go back for them to remake it and all that was in my burrito was bacon and a TON of sour cream. No potatoes! No beans! Nada. On top of it the lady was very rude. Never coming here again. Do better. Serve people what you would eat.
