Tarantula Hill reviews
7It’s a great place to exercise. Going up the hill is an awesome workout.
Go to place for a quick hike in thousand oaks, love the view from the top!
A quick nice cardio to get on the top and enjoy 360 views of rolling hills and beautiful Thousand Oaks. Oh, there are gorgeous beautiful Oak trees here.
Nice little short walk that gets the heart pumping. Paved road. Very easy. This time of year there's lots of flowers and all the hills are green. I highly recommend it.
It's 300 feet elevation in a half mile. Good exercise. Great for walking dogs. It is paved so does not get too muddy.
Really fantastic, unobstructed views at higher elevations.
There is no parking lot so street parking.
I’ve hiked up here well over a dozen times and the view from the top never gets old. Especially at sunset. To die for. There’s a nice little bench at the top for you to sit at and just watch the valley. Getting to the top offered a beautiful 360 degree view of the Conejo valley. Including immediate views of Madroña Elementary School and Redwood Middle School.
Combine a hike up and down Tarantula Hill with a circuit around the trails in the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden for a nice workout!
