Target, Santee CA

I frequent this target, since Santee has a lower sales tax than my home city, of El Cajon. I predominately get groceries at this store, since I have a red card, and save the 5 percent, on top of the already decent prices. I really like their vegan salad kits, which I get for my lunches, and I like the non dairy selection for milk, and I even found a non dairy, almond milk egg nog, when I went there today. We also get the larabar 18 count bars here, for only $15.99. The employees in the grocery area are also very personable, and will usually help me out. My only complaint is that I have a difficult time finding my size of clothes in the men's dept. I wear a size 34 waist pant with 34 inseam, and I couldn't find my size. They also don't usually have xl sweatshirts or shirts. I don't know if this is because my size is popular, or if they just don't get it in. But, that is just an inventory issue and shouldn't take away from the store's score. The people in electronics are also very knowledgeable and personable. We were looking at the limited selection of sound bars and we had our questions answered promptly and efficiently, such a big plus. We also buy our cats' wet food at this location. The supply is pretty limited, just like every other store in the area, but you can't beat the prices. This is probably my favorite store to go to. I even went there on my birthday, this year, since I had the day off. They do have self checkout, but only for 15 items, or less, so if self checkout is your thing, know that, before going, though they do have a sign posted. They always have carts at the front; the staff is very friendly; the store is usually very clean; my only complaint is the men's dept inventory.

I'm only giving this rating, and taking this survey to tell you how amazing of a job Elijah (electronics/tech dept) did helping me, and the LONG line of customers when I went in there yesterday. Poor guy was all alone, and had some very challenging customers. He handled it with extreme poise and professionalism! Hopefully he isn't left alone anymore, because he had to deal with a lot and I couldn't thank him enough for all the help he did for me in my search for a new phone! Keep him as long as you can, give him a raise, or hopefully someone can at least thank him personally for all he did for ALL those customers in that department.

I'm offering this rating to express how wonderful and helpful Mo is in the electronics area; he is incredible, and I admire how he approaches and treats people. I've been to other Targets where the tech person consistently attempts to sell you something and doesn't clarify things, but not Mo, who took the time out of his day to explain everything to me and even showed me a video on how to set up my iPad. Thank you so very much, Mo, and I'll definitely be returning to this Target.

The return team members are so friendly. The lady Jody at the return counter at the Santee Ca.was so helpful, kind and patient. Kudos to her!

Dr Makor, Allison, and Rine were all amazing! Dr Makor was very warm, informative, and thorough. Her staff were very cool, welcoming, and personable. Allison helped get me an epic deal on contacts and Rine showed me some cute glasses for when I bring my little one in. I would highly recommend the Target Optical clinic. Amazing experience all in all and they accepted my insurance.

So convenient, I love that there is usually a good selection of products to choose from. No need to have to run around to different stores for what I need. Love that I can place my order from where I am and pick it up on my way home. It has been hard for me to walk since I have severe hip arthritis and cannot do a lot of walking - so this is a big help. Although I miss going into the store and browsing - but I will soon get to after my surgery! I can't wait to be back in the store! I love Target!

I love the associates. Everyone at this store is very kind to my son who is disabled. Land even got a Caroline's Cart so we can shop easier.

I had an appointment at the optical department, the exam was quick and easy and the ladies there were super helpful and friendly!

Today I was in the self check out line the manager Diana Saw my machine requesting help to take the tags off my clothes. We made eye contact three times knowing there’s a huge line behind me and she walks away requesting another employee to

Help me.that was going on her lunch. But requested her to come and help me. Purcilla was so sweet and nice and tells me there is a big issue in the self checkout lines with management. Which I agree finally after I was done checking out Diane finally approached me and said do you need any help I said no Diane you’re way too late I’m done checking out! I made eye contact with you three times previously and you never came. With my light flashing red. Now you finally decide to come over and assist me when I’m
Done. Then have the nerve to tell me I never saw you even though you went to grab another employee to come and assist me that you had to walk across the store for. When you were less than 6 feet away from me.

Best team ever! I usually dread shopping/hate shopping for glasses but I had a great time trying on glasses for the first time! The team knows what looks good and found me some fabulous glasses! Got 2 pairs for a great deal! Definitely will go back for ALL future glasses!

The exam was as expected, but the Dr. Makor was great. The front desk staff was awesome as well. I had to come back to order my contacts and glasses, and that visit was just as friendly as before. I will definitely return for future exams and purchases.

Target staff in the store directing me to where I needed to go and they were all very pleasant. The store was extremely clean. There were staff at every corner willing to assist.

OMG I ran in looking for the Schrader bike valve unfortunately they didn’t have that. BUT on my way out there’s a 3 drawer dresser marked down 70%. Score. It was pretty heavy but Krystal and Autumn took it out to my car and put it right in. Thank you so much ladies. 5 Stars for you!

This was my first Target Optical experience and it was the most pleasant and enjoyable experience I’ve ever had at an optical appointment. The staff was incredibly helpful and the Dr was knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions/concerns. Overall I would highly recommend this location, as well as Target Optical for all optical needs.
