Target, San Diego CA

I feel silly to be leaving a Target review…but this is by far the worst Target in San Diego. The place looks genuinely dirty, the shelves are empty or in disarray in most departments, and the entrance is TEEMING with solicitors from registered voter requests to people selling candy bars. I’m never coming back here.

Easily the most understaffed Target I've ever been to. I've been here three times, and it got worse each time. The most recent time I waited 30 mins in the pickup station while a single staff member tried to work his way through twenty cars. Left without pickup. Absolute joke of a Target.

Just waited half an hour for my drive up order and they didn't even pack all my items. Ripoff!

I dislike shopping at this physical stores nowadays. Locking up many of the products in this store behind cabinets is hostile and offensive. I usually purchase my cleaning, deodorant, skin, and hair products at Target but I've chosen to take my business to a retailer that doesn't make the assumption that their customers are thieves. I feel bad for the floor employees who are being pulled from their daily tasks to open up these cabinets for customers. I hope they're paying their employees really well, because they're essentially doing 2x the work. Do better, Target.

Love to shop on target app…store pickup is great! I tell them when I’m coming, park put what parking slot I’m parked at, the employees come out with my order in less than 5 minutes! If I change my mind, returning is so easy! Especially since I am a red card holder, no more paper receipts is needed!

Purchase a laptop 2 months ago at Target cash could not find my receipt as I went to return it today to get something else at the store in return the laptop they would not take it back because I didn't have the receipt I thought this was pretty poor service.

Amazingly awful store. A lot of inventory but zero assistance. No try-on booths upstairs in the men’s department, only downstairs in womens’. I wandered around the entire upper floor trying to find help. The Up escalator was out of service. No one to help with finding departments or sizes. Upstairs there were two sales people, both in the photo-tech section — NONE anywhere else. To top it off, I got home to find a theft-deterrent device clamped to the pants I bought. No one at the self checkout to tell me to take it off. No alarm when leaving the store. Now I have to go back to get the thing removed. Am I happy with Target? Umm. No.

I don't know why my review calling out the racial profiling I saw in this store was removed but I guess I'll leave it again.

I surprised on some of the prices of some products they were quite pricey for a target. But for some other product it was pretty good. This target is 2 floors bigs they do have a elevator as well as escalator.

The WORST Target I have ever been to in my life. Where do I start.the store looks like a tornado went through it, everything is disheveled and it was actually dirty. Most toiletries are behind plexiglass and they have to be unlocked by associates who are nowhere to be found. There were legit a few homeless people pushing their carts of stuff through the store. The layout was terrible, no logic whatsoever. Diapers were on the second floor. I think someone was high when they decided to layout the store. I spent over $100 on what should have been $50. And a bunch of kids were selling stuff on the way out blocking the exit so you couldn't even get out of the store. It should be condemned! The store manager should be sent to North Dakota.

Target continues to have brand inclusivity and sizing as well as cute patterns and fashion forward thinking. One day I hope they allow me to be a spokesperson. I have four kids with autism and ADHD, and they are amazing and they would love to model. The people don’t give Autistic kids a lot of opportunities in modeling.

I second another review on here: This is basically Walmart. Things are locked up, low stock if any stock at all on pretty basic finds, and the crowds resemble what you’d find in SE san diego

I will not shop at Target until transgender clothing for children is removed along with all satanic merchandise

Good place for various items. Very well organized. Large parking lot, but very narrow space, so be careful when you park.

I hate they bring your drive up orders with out bag! But they charge for it on every order!
I’m a mom of toddler and newborn and it’s easy for me order drive up, but not when they bring you my order in hand and they even put them in their pockets! If they used their pockets to carry my order why they can’t think of just bringing them in bags! I asked for a bag and he never come back!

Literally lock everything. I dont want a personal shopper to have to follow me around to get my things.will drive out of my way to go to another one
